Do you have XM radio? Well, John Mayer sat down as a guest DJ and had a few things to say. He's so happy to have had the opportunity to do a duet with Alicia Keys, he thinks fans are like children who need discipline and if it was up to John, he would just be a guitarist in a band that he isn't singing in. On dueting with Alicia Keys - “ When most people ask me, "Who do you want to duet with?' I just say Alicia Keys. It's my catchall answer, because if I could make a career out of doing nothing but making music with Alicia Keys, I would do it. There's just not enough hours in the day, and I'm not that likeable person for her to want to hang out with all the time.
On having fans - “ Having fans is like children. You love them all equally, but they need discipline. Let's also discern between fans and public. I love my fans. I need to keep my public, you know, kind of in their place all the time. My fans -- My fans tell me what to do overall. I tell my public what to do. The public are people who don't own my records, couldn't name me three songs off one record, but get onto a blog site and go to the comments and say, "Well, he was with that dog so-and-so. He probably smells like butt." You know, people try to like do the Perez Hilton syntax, and it's terrible.
On his dream of all dreams - My dream of all dreams -- and I've never told anybody this before -- is to be the guitar player in a band that I'm not singing in. I would love to run around the stage, play the guitar. It would allow me -- Because I've got to sing. There's all this stuff I want to do on the guitar that I can't play because I'm singing over it. So to be -- to have -- And my, my vocal range -- I don't know that I have a career's worth of songs in my vocal range, but to have some -- some singer going, "Hey, you! Who said that? Baby, how you been?" while I'm just running around drinking booze and playing guitar, running up and down the catwalk, I mean, that -- that, to me -- And I would want to start out on the Sunset Strip.
And aside from all that...what do you think about Perez Hilton coming out and saying that John swings both ways?  John's rep has already denied it, but Perez insists.  

"He is definitely bi. (John is) struggling with his sexuality. He kissed me, and I kissed him back. It was on the mouth with tongue. I thought he was messing with me. Then he kept going and going."

Ummm, WHAT?!?  There are more details but they're a little explicit so I'll let you guys go read the story yourself if you want to.
