Naomi Campbell Banned For Life From British Airways

After the most recent airport scuffle, Naomi Campbell has been banned for life from the British Airways airline. They made the decision after finding out that she spat in a policeman's face. Naomi is fighting the decision, and her rep said,
"Naomi has been flying with BA for nearly 30 years and has been a good customer. She hopes this can be resolved amicably."
And someone from British Airways said,
"The decision was not taken lightly. She is a valued customer. But it is unthinkable for BA to talk about the safety of staff and passengers being our priority, then let her off. Her behavior was absolutely shocking. She abused our staff and police."
Also, depending on what the court outcome is, Virgin Airlines is also considering banning Naomi.
Wow! What do you think? Does the punishment fit the crime or are they being too harsh? Personally, after all the diva stories we've heard about her, I'm surprised she even flies on commercial airlines at all. I would have thought that she'd go everywhere in private jets.

Sounds like she has anger issues and needs to get help.
There are alot of people who have been inconvenienced by all the hoopla at terminal 5 and if one of them had behaved in this way they would have been handled harshly, so what makes her differant? Because she can smile and walk at the same time? She needs to gain some perspective, there are bigger things going on in the world!!!
Why the hell is this woman not in jail !? If I was to spit at a police man and cause this much of a disturbance on a flight you know damn well I woulda been tossed in the freaking cell. Im calling BULLSHIT on this story. Why is she being treated better then the rest of the flying public ? Unbelievable.
Finally someone (ie company) has had the balls to say enough is enough to Ms Campbell. She probably would have been banned a while ago had she not been Naomi Campbell.

When I was at Heathrow Airport we got frisked at the second check point while the white people went through. I am American of Mexican decent, my husband is white (European decent), and my daughter looks white European. I suspect that if you are not white or traveling with non white people then you must get frisked. I had no problem getting frisked but it was my observation.

The airlines should ban all passengers who behave that way and cause confrontations and delays at the airport and on planes. Travelling is nervewracking enough these days without adding unstable people with anger management issues into the mix. There is something wrong with this woman. Apparently, she has been taught to think that because she is beautiful, she has special rights and can get away with that behavior.

My friend works for British Airways in Los Angeles and was there the night of this fiasco. She says that Naomi the bitch delayed the flight from London for three hours and my friend didnt get home until 3:30 in the morning. As for everyone who wants to know what happend here is what I heard first hand. Naomi was supposed to fly into LA for a Jay Leno appearance of some sort and phoned British Airways three days earlier to make sure that her baggage would be on the flight or she would fed-ex it. It was really important that she have her outfits for whatever reason and BA assured her that her bags would be on the flight over and over. Well come the day to fly, Naomi questioned whether her bags were on the flight and found out they werent. So she threw a fit and didnt want the plane to leave until she could get her bag. I would be pissed as well but I wouldnt spit on an officer...lol
Grow up, Naomi, and stop throwing these temper tantrums!
Hooray! Someone is at last standing up to this egomaniac and putting her in her place. Spitting on someone is disgusting. She inconvenienced a whole plane full of people. How many times does she get away with breaking the law with pathetic consequences or buying her way out? You or I would have the book thrown at us. What makes her so special? Money?
Hopefully her being banned from BA will make the bitch grow up!
