It is a pretty dress, but I have seen similar styles sold as prom dresses. She looks more "cute" here than anything else.

I think she looks silly in that dress. She is too old looking to wear a prom type dress. The dress would be appropriate for a sweet sixteen party, etc. Definitely looks like she got it out of the junior department.

Screams prom dress. Maybe if it was a few inches longer it would look better.
