I've gotten a number of emails telling me whenever I host video on my blog from RedLasso, it freezes up your screen. So in order to avoid a complete meltdown of Internet browsers across the world, I thought I'd supply links to the several videos I have from American Idol's charity extravaganza, Idols Give Back.

This week 30,000,000 votes were made to decide the bottom of the remaining eight American Idol contestants. Those unfortunate idols were Syesha Mercado, Michael Johns, and Carly Smithson.

The performances of these three had common characteristics, they were boring and simply not up to the standards we have come to expect from the performers on this show. Michael Johns had the dubious honor of getting the least number of votes this time around. So, he was sent on his way. We should not be too sad for him. He does have abundant talent and we have not heard the last from this star-to-be!

That means we are now down to only have seven contestants. Stay tuned!
