TMZ is reporting that Robert Van Winkle, aka, Vanilla Ice, was arrested at his house tonight after an argument with his wife. Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputies booked him at 10:43pm for domestic battery. So far, people are saying that the couple got into a fight and he pushed her.

i guess it depends on the one who is being pushed?
if my husband pushed me i would definitely leave him...i dont know that i would him arrested though. Any person who pushes his/her partner during an argument has violent tendencies and does not know how to control them.
It really depends on the pushing. I mean, did he push her into a glass table? Against the hot stove? Down the stairs?

Altough, if you are scared you should always call the police.

#5, agree, there is pushing and there is "pushing". Sometimes in an aurgement a man might want to walk away and leave but some women want to continue arguing. He might have tried to push her out of his way. She probably was piss and called the cops on him. who knows, If he wanted to hurt her he could have. This sounds to me like a "hell have no fury like a woman scorned"
One report I read said he told the cops he left to cool off. That sounds reasonable. Thats what my guy would do too. There are alot of women out there who use the cops and "domestic abuse" as leverage. She just might be that sort of woman. I will reserve judgment on this one.
I am so shocked! Ok maybe not. Anyone who watched him on the Surreal Life knows this man has a bad temper. Apparently he started screaming at his wife in front of a child. And no matter what you may think, that is abuse.

He lives in my neighborhood, I always see him and his wife out at dinner eating sushi. They always seem happy? who knows..
