Amy Winehouse's Record Company Threatens To Pull Third Album

I absolutely do NOT believe this. It would be wonderful, but in the end Universal Music is in business to make money. Let's go with the flow anyway. Amy Winehouse's record company is threatening not to release Amy's third album unless they are certain she is clean of drugs. They also promise to not release her from their contract which means no new deals for Amy on Universal's tab. Is the threat exactly what she needs to stand straight again? Or is this all just a bunch of hot air?
"Amy has been reminded of her responsibilities. Unless she is clean she will not be allowed to release another album. They would never release her from her deal, they would just not put an album out. She has been warned about her behavior and needs to keep the standards up."

Waiting to release it posthumously then. Jeesh, I am so negative today, sorry. I hope she cleans up. I love her music. I just thing they are going to cash in on her.

well that would be nice if she could stay clean...her music is pretty good

they could not do that . although it is up to them if they want to put out her next record they cant use an excuse like that not to put it out.
half the people at her record company use drugs they supplied her with the drugs when she toured so they cant say anything.
this probably means they have heard some of the new songs and they are really bad

Yeah, righto! As if that would ever happen. Did they just magically overnight grow a kind heart and the ability to act responsible for their signed artists? I doubt that very much.
