I just feel terrible. I've been writing about her for years and I genuinely feel for her. I don't know what I would do if I lost my father at such an early age when no one was expecting it to happen. Time will heal.

Wow. I love Cameron, and this is awful. I wish her the best, basically.
It is never easy having a parent die. My father died when I was 25 of a heart attack - very sudden. It will be 2 years on 4/30 (same day as Ananda mentioned earlier).
Just last year my Uncle (and my fathers best friend) lost his 10 month battle with cancer. Either way it is just as hard.
