Katie Holmes Trying To Move To New York

Katie Holmes really wants to move to New York with Suri for her upcoming role on Broadway. But, it looks like Tom isn't too happy about the idea. Is anyone really surprised by this? A source said,
"[Katie] desperately needs to be on her own for a while, but there's no way Tom is going to let her take Suri away. There's no way he'll allow it. He just doesn't want Katie - ” or Suri - ” out of his sight for long. He told her that if she goes to New York, fine, but he goes with her. Tom wants to call all the shots when it comes to Suri. He has a lot of rules, and there's conflict."
Tom just needs to learn how to give Katie a little space! Apparently he's never heard the saying, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder."

Something is definitely going on. I did expect some damage control from the TomKat camp today after the stories coming out about them "separating". Quite frankly, I find the acting on Broadway story a little odd...Katie is not that great of an actress to begin with and being offered a part on Broadway? I think she is trying to move to New York with Suri and the Broadway story is just a smokescreen for something else going on.
