"When I had the idea to do an album of Tom Waits songs, before I had even met Dave [Sitek], someone suggested I sing 'Falling Down,'" Johansson tells Spinner. "But I decided it was too corny for me to do just because it has the lyric about 'Scarlett and me.' But Dave hadn't even noticed it. When I mentioned it, he thought the synchronicity was crazy and I never even thought twice about it after that. I was like, 'Yeah, let's do it.'"
"With 'Falling Down,' our pursuit of making one song with both Kermit the Frog and David Bowie on it became a success," Sitek adds.
What do you think?!

icky it hurts my ears....
I *adore* Scarlett J.
I was so embarrassed by this, though. It is terrible!! Oh, I hope the rest of the album is better!
she actually has a pretty voice, but this isnt a good first single
that sucked soooo bad....
love tom waits. love scarlett. love that she chose to do something as *obscure* as this and not pump out some pure pop drivel. kudos.
I personally think she is an overrated actress and as for the song...no.
ugly!
Actually the longer i listen the more I like it..
Love her. Heard her sing beautifully before. This, however, is a disappointment.
it would be a good song if she kept the words and losted everything else. the lyrics are great; although, it may be hard to concentrate on them.
yeah, this was really bad. i heard a clip of another song she did, summertime i think it was and i thought it was pretty good. but now, i think i changed my mind... completely! ickkk!!!
