Geri Halliwell Celebrating Her New Book “Ugenia Lavender”

Geri Halliwell looked cute and bubbly in pink as she celebrated the publication of her new children’s book, “Ugenia Lavender” with a kids tea party at the ZSL London Zoo. Quite a few celebrities have crossed over into the world of books and I’m curious if any of them, to you, have done a good job? Do you all have any favorites, or extreme dislikes? I really enjoyed Steve Martin’s book, “Shopgirl”.
In other news, recently Geri was asked about her childhood and “humble” upbringing. She admitted it caused her to receive negative attention in school.
“There was a girl at school who threatened to throw me over the railway tracks. I maybe didn’t’ think of myself as a misfit but I came from a humble background. My parents didn’t have much money and my Dad would drop me off in this old Mazda car. It was really old and I’d feel a little embarrassed. Your whole world at that age is based on those stupid things and if anything’s different you think, ‘Shame.’”
