I. CAN. NOT. BELIEVE. THIS.  Did they seriously not learn anything from Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey's mistakes?  I think we all know that putting their private life in the spotlight was a big part of the reason why the original Newlyweds broke up.  Even though Ashlee Simpson's publicist has denied it, sources are saying that Joe Simpson is really pushing for his youngest daughter to do her own reality show with Pete Wentz.

"He knows that no one cared about Jessica before her reality show, and he's hoping a show for Ashlee will have the same effect."

UGH.  I so hope this isn't true.  Even though I don't really feel the same sort of affection for Ashlee and Pete that I think a lot of people felt for Jessica and Nick, that doesn't mean I'm wishing for them to break up before they even get started!  Reality shows are like the kiss of death for new marriages in Hollywood.  Why would they even consider doing this?!?  What do you think?
