No Kind Words From Gwyneth Paltrow To Brad Pitt

You know...usually when reporters ask celebrities about their exes, the celeb will do the typical, "I wish them the best," dance around the question and blah blah blah...but not Gwyneth Paltrow. She was at the premiere of Ironman in L.A. when she was asked about Brad Pitt.
Asked if she had any well wishes to share with her one-time better half, the Shakespeare In Love star twisted her mouth and pertly pronounced "No!"
Maybe she just wants reporters to actually ask pertinent questions about what she's doing rather than talk to her about someone that she dated forever ago.

I've always thought it was so rude when a star is asked about another star's life. Like what their opinion is and do they have any well wishes? Especially at a premiere or something. Ask them about what THEY are promoting or doing or feeling about THEIR lives. It's like saying "yeah, its cool you're here and everything but who I'd really rather talk to is ____ so let's just talk ABOUT them."
she could have just said I wish him the best. Nothing wrong with being nice. He's never said anything bad about her. They even asked him how he felt when she had Apple and he was nice and said I wish her the best that's fantastic. She really needs to get over herself.
Gwyneth really isn't one to play nice or play along, so I wouldn't really expect her to want to answer questions about an ex of hers on the red carpet! (It's something I really like about her, actually)

If she had said anything at all it would have been even bigger news and totally distorted. "I wish them the best" would have turned into "Gwenyth Paltrow's words of advice for Bradgelina" or "Gwenyth feels for Angies children and thinks they need luck"Maybe she dosn't even know them and dosn't give a #@%!. She has her own kids to worry about!
LOL! I loved it.. even though maybe it was just a way to avoid talking about those subjects, as Vera said. I agree with drewb, she doesn't have any obligation to talk about whatever the media feels she should talk about, so that the next day they can pull out some bs story in the tabloids.
Oh please... she's moved on with her life. Why in the world should she share her time with Iron Man answering questions about ex boyfriends. Get it.. BOYFRIEND, not husband, not baby daddy.. BOYFRIEND. i.e. meaningless relationship in your road to your final destination. I would have said the same thing regardless if me and the ex were still friends at some level.
i agree with a lot of whats said. brad has what? 5 children....why ALL of a sudden ask her about him? why would even interrupt herself with thoughts of his daddy-hood?
Love it! I agree w/Vera. Gwenyth probably wanted to talk about something relevant to why she is being interviewed in the first place, i.e. Iron Man.
Who is her stylist? I noticed she is wearing minis now but she is definitely too old for this look and she looks ridiculous. I've never been a fan of hers, she can't act, (Shakespeare in Love was her only decent movie), and she only got where she is because of her famous/rich parents. Don't like at all.
I think she' s jealous of Angie & wishes she never cheated on Brad. She's so stuck on herself & isn't much of an actress, imo. She's certainly not the humanitarian Angie is either. Brangelina rocks!
Um, yeah, that's it. She's JEALOUS and wishes "she never cheated". (???) Just because the rest of the world is obsessed with BP and his brood doesn't mean she is. There are exes in my past about whom I'd have the same answer if I were asked today.
When you have legs that look like that, you can get away with wearing a mini. She's not 70.
Yeah "Just Sayin'" but she didn't mind talking about Pitt when she said he should have kept his mouth shut about the breakup over Aniston even though no one asked her for her opinion OR when she thought he was so good in Babel. This woman is so phony & fake and clearly she's not a happy camper. The CLASSY thing to do would have been to congratulate him. But then again this is a woman who doesn't bring her husband anywhere public & the mini SCREAMS desperation. Pretty sad.
Uh, maybe she learned her lesson with the Aniston thing. None of us has ANY idea why she answered this time the way she did. Nor do we know the context of the conversation that lead to this particular answer.

Perhaps she doesn't care for men who cheat when they're married and cheat with skanks of all things. Can't blame her there.
i am not a fan but i have to take her side on this one. she does not need to get over herself. that questioned was not even relevant. she is trying to promote her movie and they are asking her about someone she dated over a decade ago. i would have said a hell of a lot more. and even if she did say anything it would have gotten twisted and made into something else.

Hi Kiki, Precious Gywnnie had to open her big mouth when BP & JA split up & they both finally talked about it to the press that "it would have been better had they (s)not said anything about it" type of sanctimonious "I learned my lesson at 28" but still feel the need to talk about it crap. I say crap because this woman has no issues talking ad nauseum about her father passing away, giving birth, being a parent, the latest food fad. Her acting stinks too.
Why on earth would Gwyneth be jealous of a skank like Angelina? The humanitarian thing is to make people forget she was a filthy digusting drug-abusing whore. And besides, Gwyneth has so moved on from Brad. There is nothing enviable about the brangelina family or thier lifestyle. Gwyneth can act circles around Angelina.
I forgot to add Gwyneth has always been respectable and who the hell talks more about thier life than that skank angelina. Her life, as she says, is an open book. I wish the hell she would close it.
First of all Precious Gwynnie used to be a drunk AND she cheated on BP so all the vitriol against Queen Angelina is a more than a bit hypocritical but then again I guess like attracts like. Practically all Hollywood have at some point bed hopped & over done it with the drugs (hmm wonder if Precious Gwynnie also fired one up with stud muffin BP) but they don't all get "holier than thou" about it. That, along with her undeserved rep for being this great actress she's not, makes me want to hurl.
What's enviable about Brangelina? Where do we begin? Worlds most beautiful couple give away millions to charity, including Katrina relief, adopt orphans from 3rd world countries and highlight the plight of people struggling in Darfur, just to name a few of their good deeds. Call it "camera mugging" all you like but the cameras would follow them anywhere like they did Princess Diana. Queen Angelina is the world's most beautiful woman and she's always been unique, which I love about her. I loved it when she swapped blood vials with BB Thornton and I love it that she has an interesting past and is so honest about it. No good two shoes there. Queen Angelina is absolutely one of a kind.

Este, God, what an idiot you are. You criticize Gwyneth for talking about her children and life, yet you praise the skank for the same thing. Growup and take your head out of brangelina's ass. They are the two most digusting posers around. Everything they do is for thier own self-agrandizement and for the whore to make pentance for an amoral life. Some of us are Paltrow fans and really don't want to read the constant worshiping of the whore.

My issue with Miss Precious is that she does the same BS she rails against others for doing and acts holier than thou. She wears those look at me minis but NO she doesn't want the attention. She's not a media whore! What a hypocrite! And did I fail to mention her acting stinks too?
When it comes to acting Gwyneth is marginal however, Angelina is less than marginal. Gwyneth, no matter what her faults is exponentially better as a person then Angelina ever will be. Her body is better, she is smarter, and she has CLASS something the skank will never have.
Angelina gives money away and always alerts the media. People who give from the heart don't have the need to put out press release when they give money. You really need to do some research on your idol because she is such a hypocrite. Gwyneth is promoting a movie, she isn't going out of the way to exploit her children the way Angelina does. She doesn't talk ad nausem about what she does in the bed with her husband. Unlike the whore who had people magazine in Pax bedroom the very same day she brought him home for Vietnam is just the epitome of lownes. But, that's your girl angie.

In a nutshell: How fitting that the necklace Gwyneth wore on the night she accepted her Oscar was called 'The Princess'. It is this superior attitude we find so hard to stomach in Gwynnie. It has been easy for her to be so nonchalant about her career - she never really had to rough it to get where she most definitely wanted to go. She was born into a well-connected Hollywood family. Steven Spielberg, her godfather, cast her in her first movie and with the help of boyfriend Brad Pitt her career took flight. Her 'too cool for school' pose was blown bit by bit as she appeared on cover after magazine cover, and dated a string of leading men all the while moaning about the attentions of the press. Things we hate about her
1. She complains constantly about the intrusive press but if Vogue or Vanity Fair come knocking, she is more than happy to bathe in their adulation. If a fashion editor's lips are puckered up and ready to kiss her derriere she will strip and gush with the best of them.
2. You sense she has the feeling that she is just a little better than everyone else. Why else would she demand a five-mile exclusion around her villa on the island of Mallorca.
3. She likes to think of herself as a serious artist who never thinks of the baser things in life. 'I would much rather work less and do better things - even if they are riskier and get paid less - and not compromise my integrity. If I have to travel economy then I will, but I don't want to sell out.' Yet she happily makes adverts for Martini Rossi, even though she is famously teetotal, prompting even ad execs to call her a hypocrite.
4. Although she dislikes intrusions into her own private life she made Sylvia, despite Ms Plath's sister eloquently pleading for the film not to be made. She says: 'I might not work for ages (when Apple is little). My mother turned down every fantastic movie there was. She turned down these amazing things that would have made her a huge movie star.' Truth is, sensing that her career had cooled, Gwyneth took the pressure off herself by saying she felt it was more important to be a full-time Mum. She soon realised that motherhood was a lot harder than poncing around on a film set and has promptly returned to pursuing her movie star career.
Devin, No one gets into this kind of business without a massive ego. Gwyneth Paltrow is FAKE and pretentious and wouldn't be where she was without a family in the business. That's why I can't stand her. Not because Angelina is a perfect person or a better actress or more beautiful. Everyone's got a history and nobody's perfect. You guys need to get over Angelina's past. Big whoop! She did what a lot of other folks in Hollywood did. I certainly wouldn't want my husband smooching an actress on screen but it's hardly surprising when something more develops.
Gwyneth "I learned my lesson at 24" is just nauseating with her fake better than you British accent. She likes to say how much she hates the media intrusion but hawks her life when it suits her purpose. YUCK!
