President Bush Wants To Use The Jessica Simpson Jinx

Hahaha, so I guess President Bush follows sports/entertainment enough to know about the "Jessica Simpson jinx." Remember that the Dallas Cowboys fans blamed her for anything Tony Romo ever did wrong on the field and then called it her jinx? Well President Bush made a joke off of that when he spoke in front of the New York Giants at the White House.
"We're going to send Jessica Simpson to the Democrat National Convention."
For some reason I find it hilarious that the President even knows who Jessica is!

I've always thought President Bush had a great sense of humor. That is really funny!
Well he is from Texas and I'm sure he follows the Cowboys. Plus the media and even the network airing the games made such a huge deal about it.
She sang at his inauguration.
His speechwriters write the jokes, and his earpiece tells him what to say. The only thing he knows is what direction to face.

Ugh, that just makes me dislike Bush even more. What a mean thing to say about Jessica Simpson--even if it's mean to be a joke. And Skippy's right--I have a friend who works for one of the campaigns, and the candidates almost never write their own stuff. The most they ever do is approve a speech.

What an arsehole. Sorry, but to make fun of Jessica Simpson when she's done nothing wrong is just beyond me. Thank God this man isn't around for very much longer.
