Avril Lavigne Issues Apology Statement

The fans have spoken and Avril Lavigne heard every word. The singer released an official statement apologizing to all concert goers that were disappointed to find her most recent show had been canceled without notification.
"I am at home right now taking it easy. I have been sick this whole tour, and now I have lost my voice. I have never canceled a show in my whole career and just had to for the first time ever. This sux (sic)!
" I just played 4 shows in a row in Texas (which is a lot for the vocals) and woke up in Vegas Tuesday with no voice. I thought I was gonna have to cancel that show, but I made it through... ..barely! I woke up yesterday and knew I wouldn't be able to sing last night. My voice is so shot.
"I'm at home resting my voice for 2 days and hope to be back out soon. Thank you for understanding. And once again, I sincerely apologise."

Um, she forgot to say "I'm sorry that no one told you guys it was canceled."!!!!! Hellooooo! That's what they are angry about! She's such a twat.
That doesn't count as an apology, nobody expects you to be sorry about losing your voice, the fans are angry that you didn't have the decency to TELL them before they rocked up to your concert, and looks like you don't have the decency to properly apologise either.

Yes I agree. That was a lameass apology. She needed to address the fact that fans we not notified not what her schedule is/was.
u fools ... she's telling u y she hadn't been able to run the show that day , n that's all what u need to know what do u gonna get from her apology , n after all it's not partcularaly her fault it's her management's that 's supposed to be thier job SHE ONLY SINGS ... so give her a break WILL YA ?!!

I like how everybody talks so much crap about her regarding this. Uh, the girl was sick. Have any of you ever got sick before in your lives? No?... well, you must be superhuman then.
And like somebody else said, it's not HER job to call every single person who planned on attending the concert and apologize for not being able to come. She has MANAGERS who are supposed to do this for her... it's THEIR job! They get paid for that!

Also, maybe none of YOU care about Avril, but believe me, millions of people around the world do. She is VERY popular around the globe... in Asia aspecially. Maybe many Americans don't give a crap about her, but the rest of the world does. She still has millions of fans and trust me, she won't be "going away" any time soon.

It's Karma, if you keep treating fans like shit, it's gonna come around and bite your ass. I think it's starting to already. She had done soemthing where she left people in the crowd after sang 2 songs when they weaited for so long for her. They were pissed.

Avril Lavigne im very angry right now because i was so excited for your concert but u canceled im very angry my money was waste it and you were my favorite artist.
