John Mayer Blogs About The New Haircut

John Mayer’s new ‘do was so important that he took to the blogs to write about it. No mention of Jennifer Aniston, unfortunately ;)

“Today I set off on my newest project; to grow and maintain an authentic ’80s style feathered haircut. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for some time and I’m very excited to bring this amazing look into today’s pop culture landscape. The feathered cut projects an attitude of ease and quiet confidence that seems to have all but eluded our generation.
This is a work in progress, and as my hair grows longer it will serve to become a more stirring and poignant statement.”

I think I’m scared to see where this “project” is going…

  2. lis says:

John really strikes me as a person who takes his fame and celebrity in stride and doesn’t take it too seriously. I like that.

  3. The Valleys says:

He didn’t have to mention Jennifer Anniston. She’s right there on top of his head….BORING.

I like John though. I hope he gets over his Rachel phase really fast…both the relationship and the Rachel hair.

  4. Amelia says:

i love my john mayer more than anything…but that hair looks like a bike helmet.

i miss the shag. i hope it grows out by july when i get to see him in CA… : )

and about jennifer aniston, i always thought brad pitt was crazy for dumping her, so good catch for john!

  5. Sasha says:

  13. Grand. If there’s one word I hate, it’s grand. It’s so phony. For a second, I was tempted to tell her to forget about the matinee. But we chewed the fat for a while. That is, she chewed it.

  14. omg says:

He needs a hug. Poor thing.

  15. Joey99 says:

I’m sure that his whole post was supposed to be tounge-in-cheek since people are making such a big deal about his hair! Funny, though, he does look like Michael J. Fox back in the day!

  16. Jan says:

This is like a fat person making fat jokes. Hes doing it before anyone else can. I like the hiarcut tho lol its better then what he usually sports.

  17. j says:

ugly and more stranger than before

  18. gerard Vandenberg says:

    You know michael’s words?
With or without hairs: HE’S A DAMN FAGGOT, for sure!!

  19. hmmm..... says:

    “Two snaps up….HATED IT!”

Some things should be left where they got dropped off, and pulling hairstyles out of the 80′s is a no-no….what’s next the Achey Breaky Heart Mullet?

  20. OC Dee says:

I love John Mayer’s Continuum CD because it has great soulful blues music. I also appreciate that John has participated in environmental events. I also like his sense of humor. I think John’s latest haircut looks great! He has great thick wavy hair and can do all sorts of great looking hairstyles. I look forward to seeing him in concert this summer at in Irvine CA. I hope John plays new material too.

  21. penny says:

I hope that Jennifer Aniston wakes up. I am not a fan of John’s but I understand that he has talent…I just can’t get past the annoying, immature part. I really thought that JA had more going for her than this relationship.

  22. seismic007 says:

I like the haircut. It is sexy on almost any man. I have to admit I am really tired of the “bowling ball” look that men are sporting right now. Bring back the sexy hair!
