No Pre-nup For Mariah Carey?

Well, we haven't even really gotten a confirmation about the engagement - forget about the wedding! And now we are talking pre-nup details? I love my job. The NY Post is reporting that Mariah Carey's secret / speedy wedding to Nick Cannon happened without a pre-nup.
"There was no pre-nup - there wasn't time," said another worried source.
This whole thing is blowing my mind if it's true. What would make her marry so fast? Head over heels in love? Bun in the oven? Secret romance went on for much longer than the media thought? It's endless. Oh wait - I forgot the "it's all not true" reason... There is quiet buzz going around that it's all just a marketing ploy to keep her name in the press until her second video comes out in a few weeks. Who knows??

I say this is a PR stunt! It all happened too fast, first rumours of the engagement, then all of a sudden news that they have already married! Who would want to marry MC anyway? She is out of touch with reality! All the success went to her head. She is not the same MC who came out in 1990 and impressed the world with her vocal abilities. I won't be buying her new album! MC circa 1990-1995 was great.

Ruh-roh, Mimi. I can't believe you've done this; not exactly your wisest move. However, I'm not too surprised since she doesn't seem too savvy in the affairs of the heart.
BTW...why do these rich and famous people have to get married? Can't they just cohabitate for a decade or two, until they're really sure their partner is sincere? Seems odd, all the "marryin'."
