I wonder what Tom said to Oprah for her to devote 2 whole shows to just him. She hasn't even done that for her beloved Obama. It must have required some serious ass kissing. Tom's damage control show is turning into a media circus! Now all his mega-rich "friends" are coming out to show their support. I wonder what's in it for them? Tom and his spin doctors have gone overboard. Why does he feel so desperately the need to convince the public that he is just a nice, normal family man? He must be regretting the way he has so overtly linked himself with the Scientology cult. It is starting to damage his career, as he is seen as a freak. Maybe money speaks louder than his devotion to his beliefs? It's actually quite amusing to watch!

Ohhhhh....I'm going off on TS-Steel. Why is Xenu any different than Buddah or God or Allah? Some religions believe we keep coming back time after time. The universe is unknown to us why the heck would you judge that.

If he treated himself like an actor we would have no problms. Assuming you're Xenu's gift to mankind and to have the audacity to demean basic human values on the foot of Scientology's assumptions is rather presumptive. Watch the video, its when he said ' we ARE the authority' is when I become annoyed. Saying it was personal does not change the content of the message does it. Its like a neo nazi saying hed rather keep his racism private, should we judge him less harshly for that. Infact, we should be judging this man who assumes a moal higher ground and whose religion has caused physical and mental distress to hundreds and who insists on enforcing it upon the world in form of social conciousness. As someone who believes in the good of secular humanism and the general evil of organized religion, I find his personal views of humans offensive. If he had never made his views public, I wouldnt care, but he has, and so judging him on the basis of his acting solely seems hardly fair since hes the authority on everything now.
So, it is probably right that even though Scientology is a cult right now, it will eventualy morph into a religion given enough time. \time lends validity to a lot of things. And even though the idea of this religion seems crazy think about it from an athiests point of view. A green man who captures and tortures soul eventually freeing them upon an unsuspecting audience, and a bearded old man living with his wife in the snow carrying presents to children in the western world in a sleigh driven by flying reindeers, and the presents are made by little magical men. Even the idea of heaven and hell, a place in the sky and a place below ground, pearls happy fluffy and rocks and blood and fire. Regardless of how you try to interpret it, scientology has the same level of unbelievability as all other religion. To an athiest it is apparent but time has lended validity to the major religions. And buddhism has never been a religion as buddha never claimed to be a god or spoke of the existence of one.
