I received an email last night from an INO reader who shall remain nameless about Hills' stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt. Apparently, her cousin works as a (fill in blank) and is telling everyone that the show is less reality than we think. The man is claiming that Heidi and Spencer are ALREADY married but are keeping it quiet to make their plot line more interesting. Hush Hush! The couple also plans to sell their entire process to one lucky magazine all the way up to their second I Do.
What do you think? Would you put it past them?

Boy! Have the tides turned on this one. I just got another email from someone who is friends with Spencer through a photo editor for a certain tabloid who is buddy buddy with Hills star. Not only is Spencer not marrying Heidi... but he NEVER plans on doing so.
He even told me that Spencer flat out told him that he was NEVER going to marry Heidi.
Two completely different stories!!
With the celebrities of today nothing would surprise me!
If they are married good for them, they seem well suited!
i actually like heidi and spencer --- i USED to despise them, but theyve just been givin a bad wrap. who cares if they lie for cameras.

it's easy enough to find out, just get tmz to find where they filed their marriage license. haha You have to have one to be legally married. tmz always shells out the dough to buy that info
i think heidi and spencer are wasteful, as in waste of space. they are NOT celebrities in my book. everything they do is staged and i get very upset at the amount of attention they get.
i normally don't read anything about them, because ... come on. they could fall off the face of the earth tomorrow and no one would really miss them...would they?

Totally wouldn't suprise me. You can tell from watching The Hills that they still live together. The whole thing with Heidi throwing him out and living with his sister and then him showing up to every place she visits, it's so staged. They're still living together and it's obvious because they're both terrible actors.

I don't get what the big deal is about these two. I have to agree that even a trip to the store seems staged. How sad. They seem very dull and boring to me.
I think every single thing they do is purly for publicity. As the first comment states, they are well suited for each other.....BUT I think their's is a business relationship to help the other gain "stardom" that's about it.
Also - if anyone noticed on last nights episodes, why were all of Spencer's arcade games still in Heidi's apartment? Wern't they gone in the episodes before? I could be wrong, but I thought I caught that. I'll have to go back and see.

I don't really mind Heidi but Spencer is annoying. If I were her I would run for "The Hills" away from him. If she ever had any chance at a career in Hollywood I think he is going to crush it just because of who he is...I don't think there is any amount of clever editing on reality shows to lead the average viewer to think that he is really 'not' what he is portrayed as on TV...he's just annoying, selfish, weird, etc.

Aren't marriage certificates for public viewing? If you wanted to find out if this was true just look I suppose. I doubt it though.
Every time I see these two, I'm reminded of the Canadian rapist/murdering married duo of Karla Homolko and Paul Bernardo and I just get this icky feeling all over.

Awesome! I did catch those arcade games in the background and thought that was odd, why were they back? I hope they break up soon, and then Heidi realizes how creepy everything in her life is (such as her BF, her plastic face, her lack of friends). Good times.
Why anyone would want to marry a dumb girl like Heidi Montag is beyond me anyway.

I used to hate them, Spencer the most. But I think that he is a jerk for the camera and it is a reason why the show is so popular. Let's face it people, how do you think that "The Hills" will be doing without Heidi and Spencer? They make the show. I like them now, because we share a lot of things... First, I am so pleased to see that some celebrities are republican, thanks God, we still have hope in this country, and then, that they did not care about having a huge wedding and they eloped. I am happy to see that they did not care about family and friends ( especially when everybody hate them anyway) and they just did what they wanted to do without telling anyone.... Congratulations to them, they deserve it!
