Sarah Jessica Parker To Try For More Kids

Boy! Isn't this Sex and the City day? They must be doing a HEAVY push with their press releases because I'm only writing about half of what I find. Sarah Jessica Parker is planning on taking the summer off to relax in the Hamptons and Ireland. Are their kids in the horizon? She says she hopes so.

"In the summer, we'll leave town and we'll unwind and go to Long Island and probably Ireland. We're pretty open for the rest of the summer." When asked if a baby is on the horizon, Broderick adds, "I hope so."

hopefully they will get her fashion sense
so many times you see her wearing stuff that anyone else could not pull off. she is so great and still humble...unlike so many of the super- young starlets that would blow their career for a sniff.

better hurry, getting a little long in the tooth for babies

I was thinking the same thing...isn't she in her 40s already? In my opinion she's a little too old to be contemplating more kids. I love her fashion sense etc...but more kids at her age doesn't seem like a healthy option.

I think she should adopt........

Actually Matthew said he would like more kids. But what does Jessica say?

She might be "too old", but if you have her money, you can afford to be an old mom! You can always have your super expensive nanny to play with the little ones because your old bones are hurtin'.

My mom had a baby at 42 and money has nothing to do with it...

I am so glad she's wearing one of her designs for Steve & Barry's in this picture. I love that line...so inexpensive!

The dress she is wearing in this picture is one of her own designs. It was in the NY Times earlier this week. Apparently it sells for only $8.

I bought this dress last week! It runs a little big but is so worth the money! I giggled when I saw her wearing it.

You've got to consider things long term as well. Coping with teenagers in your 60s? No thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SHE IS TOO OLD, FAR FROM HUMBLE AND THE KID SHE HAS ALWAYS HAD A DUMMY OR BOTTLE IN ITS MOUTH EVEN WHILE GOING TO SHCOOOL.
SO I VOTE AGAINST THIS COW BREEDING AGAIN.

I absolutely love her but the kids statement made me choke a little. She is 43... who the hell wants to be almost 45 years older than their kids? Oh, I guess rich people who can afford a nanny anyway.

Maybe she had her eggs frozen at 30?

I have one word for her. Amniocentisis. And I can't spell it. I will pray for the right number of chromosones.

It surprises me that she isn't talking about adopting. I also thought I heard her say, like 3 years ago, when somebody asked her about more kids... "I think that time has passed". She said it shortly after SATC ended.

Maybe she misspoke the other day? Ok, maybe not.

It just bums me out that she said that because I do love her to pieces. There are so so many kids that need to be adopted. Why even push it?

I don't know. Maybe I'm too familiar with what can happen to *anyone* after the age of 35 when it come to child bearing. It is a HUGE gamble and a sad one for the new life if things don't go well.

Sure, anything can happen before 35. But after that point, the odds are increased exponentially.
