Boy! Isn’t this Sex and the City day? They must be doing a HEAVY push with their press releases because I’m only writing about half of what I find. Sarah Jessica Parker is planning on taking the summer off to relax in the Hamptons and Ireland. Are their kids in the horizon? She says she hopes so.
“In the summer, we’ll leave town and we’ll unwind and go to Long Island and probably Ireland. We’re pretty open for the rest of the summer.” When asked if a baby is on the horizon, Broderick adds, “I hope so.”

It surprises me that she isn’t talking about adopting. I also thought I heard her say, like 3 years ago, when somebody asked her about more kids… “I think that time has passed”. She said it shortly after SATC ended.
Maybe she misspoke the other day? Ok, maybe not.
It just bums me out that she said that because I do love her to pieces. There are so so many kids that need to be adopted. Why even push it?
I don’t know. Maybe I’m too familiar with what can happen to *anyone* after the age of 35 when it come to child bearing. It is a HUGE gamble and a sad one for the new life if things don’t go well.
Sure, anything can happen before 35. But after that point, the odds are increased exponentially.

I was thinking the same thing…isn’t she in her 40s already? In my opinion she’s a little too old to be contemplating more kids. I love her fashion sense etc…but more kids at her age doesn’t seem like a healthy option.
I think she should adopt……..
