Ryan Seacrest To Replace Larry King

Yes, you read that sentence correctly. Ryan Seacrest is in SERIOUS negotiations to take over Larry King's show.
A source from within CNN says that Seacrest, who has filled in for his friend Larry King in the past, is involved in "serious negotiations" to take over "Larry King Live" around year's end. King told The New York Times in April 2007 that Seacrest would be his first choice to take over the show when the time came.
Ryan and Larry... almost the same thing. Makes complete sense to me. Where does that leave Idol I wonder.

Could this be the end of American Idol?? We've endured enough torture.
Not even sure what to say about this. I haven't been a huge fan of Larry King, but there has been times I have watched him for some of the more controversial shows. I think Ryan has the voice and the ability, but I just don't think he is edgy enough. I think he plays it safe and that will make it pretty dull.
So now the show will feature softballs lobbed by a younger and equally insipid guy. Sounds...riveting.

Ryan so does NOT play it safe. I really like his interviews. He would be a good replacement.
Larry King is the one who plays it safe. Ryan would be great a taking his place.

what is this guy's claim to fame?> I do not get it. His name is always mentioned or thrown around but it just leaves me clueless. There is nothing special about him so far that I could point out.
Ryan just wanted you know that I love the way say "THIS IS AMERICAN IDOL." I don't think anybody else can say it better than you. You say this with such conviction.
