Sienna Miller Attacks A Paparazzi With Her Purse
I'm tossing around the term "attacked" kind of lightly here but Sienna Miller swatted at a paparazzi with her purse yesterday after a photographer got up in her face at LAX.
"The 26-year-old felt one of the snappers had got a little too close for comfort and yelled expletives as she lunged at him...Luckily for the snapper the bag didn't contain anything heavy and he simply laughed at the furious Factory Girl as airport security stepped in to help."
The Daily Mail has the images of the whole thing going down.Good thing that wasn't my purse she hit someone with. I carry around everything but the kitchen sink...that thing is heavy enough to knock someone out :)When celebrities do things like this to the photographers do you feel that their actions are justifiable?

I dont care who it is, or what they do for a living, NOBODY should have their personal space invaded the way celebrities do. If some strange man got in my face with a camera, he'd be missing a few teeth and the camera as well. There needs to be some privacy laws put into place to protect people (and especially children) from the over agressive ways of the Paps. I enjoy seeing pics of celebs, but there is a fine line between photographs of celebs at public outings and pics of people in the airport, beach, home, or on vacation (like Angelina on her patio). I hope something is done soon, before someone gets hurt.
While I understand that it must be annoying to have people following you all the time, it's one of the prices to pay for being famous. Attacking a paparazzi with your purse isn't very mature. The only time I feel it would be justified would be in a situation where the paps were being harmful to you or your children. Yes, he got in her face. But was he causing harm? She should have tried to remain a little bit calmer. Making a nasty comment or not allowing them to get their shot would be better than hitting them.
I do feel that there needs to be a law put in place that states that the paparazzi need to remain so far away from celebrities. It would be impossible to stop them from taking pictures altogether but they do need to not be so invasive. The other pictures in the set should be how it is. No one is swarming her and they still get a decent picture (I'd rather see someone from that distance than all close up where you can see all their pores! That's not attractive).
No, I do not think their actions are justifiable. Just immature. I'm sure it must get tiresome to be trailed by photographers and have them in your face. However, when a person in this day and age strives for fame, they know that this is the price to pay. Sienna is only 26 and only been notable for several years. The papparazzi have been relentless for years now, she knew what she was getting into.
And to think, being famous pays big money, probably bought that purse she hit him with...
I think it's 100% justifiable, especially if there are children involved. There is such thing as personal space. No one has the right to blind another person with a camera pointed 5 inches from their face.
I can understand why she did it and whether she was justified in hitting him with her bag depends how close he got. iI he was so close he was in danger of tripping her up or was smacking her with his camera (ie in danger of causig her physical harm or actually harming her) I'd say definitely justified. Also we don't know what he was saying to her - some of them shout disgusting things at the celeb to get them to look at the pap (and hence, the camera)to get the money shot. I doubt she really knew what she was getting into when she decided to be an actress either.
I suspect most people, if they had to put up with being intimidated, crowded by people with cameras, and had unpleasant things shouted at them on a daily basis would crack up occasionally.
I LOVE THAT PURSE!!!!!!!!! Does anyone know who it is by? As well as the cost?
At the same time these celebrities are getting paid millions and have little perks such as shutting down entire stores so they can shop or leniency when they break laws while we little people work 5 days a week to support ourselves.
I don't feel sorry for them at all.
i think everyone has their right to personal space. Take a picture...fine, but for crying out loud...BACK OFF. I don't like strangers getting close to me
millions of dollars for a few months of work? free clothes from the hottest desingers? invites to the biggest and most exclusive parties on earth? the opportunity to make a difference and reach people on a huge scale?
cute pink purses? I'll take it!
sorry, but annoying photographers are the trade-off. Go live in the middle of nowhere and stop putting yourself on screen and in huge airports if you're sick of the "attention."
if not? Celebs-stop complaining!
this is siennas job.. she is at work at the airport. and she knows that by acting like that towards the paps she will get more press. if she didnlt want the attention she would go through the special entrance that they have for celebs who don't want attention.
Sienna is someone who's often called the paps, so she'd get press.
What I don't get though are those paps who are blocking their prey's path. Hello? Whatever happened to common courtesy? Do cameras have a lens or not? You don't have to be in someone's face. Keep a distance of a few feet. If someone blocked my way, starting to talk to me, even pulling at my clothes the way these people often do, I'd do the same.
So I don't get those who write it comes with the job. Being blocked or touched by paps certainly doesn't come with anything.
SHE HAD BETTER STICK IT TO HER FUCKING ASS
#7 Ethang is a genius. He/She hit it dead on.
If a celebrity is going to close a whole store just for themselves...or rent an entire floor of a hotel, or close an entire restaurant (like Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer did) just for them to dine in, then they have to deal with the responsibility that comes with that kind of power.
She's mad because she put HERSELF in the position to be famous? Cry me a river. If she doesn't like it, the answer is simple... Move to anywhere else in the country and get a regular job like everyone else in the world.
That photog should sue her for assault.
I don't care what the fuck she does. All I know is that I want to stick my penis inside of her. I don't care which hole it is. Mouth, ass, pussy, nose, ear. Any hole will do. Sienna is smoking hot. I'd let her hit me with her purse. I'd let her punch me in the face. I'd let her run me over with her car. Because she is special. Most celebrities are special. That's why they are celebrities. The rest of us a worm food. We don't deserve to exist. I'd let Sienna Miller stick a pair of scissors in my eye.
i can see both sides. Sometimes your having a bad day and I can see not wanting to have your picture taken, however, at the same time, we all have bad days and that doesn't mean we should be crude and physical with anyone. just move on and do your best to ignore them. BUT I think when kids are involved, its a little different. Then again would you want your child to see you swearing and lunging at someone? I think this is a very difficult topic...
BUTTT!! I LOVE that purse! Anybody know who makes it?
Well, it must get tiring having people who take your picture around you everytime you go out but there is no reason to attack someone with your purse. She could have told him to back off if he got too close. On another note, why not pose for a few pictures in exchange of them leaving you in peace afterwards? But friendliness has never been Sienna's strong point.
And again, she always always looks like she is in need of a bath.
I hope it didn't ruin her expensive purse.
oh my god i love her purse, does any1 knows about it?
Who's Sienna Miller? I mean she is pretty but what has done?
Who's Sienna Miller? I mean she is pretty but what has she done?
Vera check some of these comments.. not appropriate. I kow you pride yourself in clean comments. Unfortunatly pics come with the job BUT i agree there should be laws for distance. Especially when they have their kids.
#7 RIGHT ON!!
I think that it is justified. All you people against it say that now, but ifit was happening to you, you'd do it too Celebrities are not the only ones who break the law and get away with it. The paparazzi does it too. They have caused many problems including physical harm and death. They were the cause of Princess Diana's 1997 death. But yet the photographers didn't go to prison like the we would if we caused someone's death. So yeah I do feel sorry for them. Yes they're rich and famous, but they deserve privacy too. Not to mention when the paparazzi gets into your face you have a right to defend yourself. It's not just the celebrities they stalk, but their children too. Children are innocent and need to be left alone, they don't need cameras flashing in their faces. They don't know what's going on, it's a game to them. They are completey at the photographers mercy. While the photographer destroys the parents lives, they destroy the childs future. The children are then swept up in the middle of the action and people begin to speculate on how the chid will be when he/she grows up.
