Hilary Duff & Katharine McPhee At Allure Magazines, "Most Alluring Bodies" Event

I will have to agree with Allure Magazine if Hilary Duff and Katharine McPhee are on that list. Both of those ladies are gorgeous and seem to be at a healthy weight which encourages good body image in our younger generation. They also have the BEST hair and skin! Seriously, what does Katharine use?!!And what a difference a little smoky eye can do for a gal. I almost didn't recognize Hilary!

They both look gorgeous. Hilary looks a lot healthier now, she went too skinny at one point.
I don't think Hilary is at a healthy weight. She is a naturally chubby girl and she works out hard and has an extreme diet to look this wa. She looks better than she did a year ago when she was aneroxic looking but I still think she is obsessed with her body. Katherine also has body issues. She admited to having an eating disorder. That never goes away so I think these 2 are poor examples for a healthy body.

There are a lot of very skinny girls in the media, and its likely that many of them have eating disorders. However, it is unfair to say that they have an abnormal body weight. I am naturally a very thin person, and it hurts when people call me anorexic or unnatural since I eat healthy and exercise regularly. While it is taboo in our society to call someone "fat", there are no social barriers against putting down thin girls. It can be just as devastating to be called anorexic as it is to be called fat.
Someone already mentioned this but Katherine has been very open about her eating disorder. But I would agree that she seems to be at a healthy weight and keeping the problem under control.
hilary got a boob job it's not just weght gain
2 beautiful young women... with healthy body. Everybody have their body issues, but now they seems happy in their own skin. Good for them and good for young girls to have great role model.

i dont know how we can judge whether they are happy in their own skin just by looking at their pictures. It's clear that both of them have struggled with their body image in the past, both with pretty serious consequences. From my experience, people don't recover from eating disorders in a matter of a couple of months...recovery usually takes years, and is filled with relapses. either way, I'm sure that by medical standards both of them are still considered underweight - otherwise you can't succeed in hollywood.
i think they both look fantasic, and no i dont think Hilary got a boob job...
I don't find their bodies particularly alluring, but to each their own.

They look amazing...Glowing even. They have great skin because they are HEALTHY meaning they dont cut out essential vitamins and fats just to fit into the skeletore jeans.
So having an eating disorder is alluring. Awesome, haha.

Hil and her honey look so cute together. Hil and Kat look great, haven't seen her in ages.
Hilary has such a great figure and great legs. However she would look so much better if she covered her upper arms as they are by far her worst feature.
Hilary looks like a football player on top. She's very broad & husky looking even when she gets really thin. By the way, it's freezing in NY so I don't get why she is dressed like it's 90 degrees.
women should be skinny, it's healthier.
