Personally, I don't think either of them has the chops to ever be Oscar-worthy. Neither of them seems all that risky. Maybe KH will surprise me and take a few more dramatic, exciting roles that prove she's truly a gifted actress. JA has yet to convince me. She's kept to romantic comedies, for the most part, and hasn't stretched herself enough. I don't know if that's entirely her fault, though, or the fault of her fans and movie execs who don't want to see her as anything but the sweetheart...

Let her go! Grey's would be better without her.
Right now her ego is tell her she can carry a movie, but when she gets out there she will be a rude awakening.

I don't really like her. I enjoyed "Knocked Up" but didn't fall in love with her character.. don't know if I would have, had somebody else played it.

I am not surprised to hear this though. It's a pretty common thing.... Actor gets very successful TV show.. wants to do better... less hours, more pay.

I think Heigl gets a rough time of it in the press and on websites like these. For the most part, I can't really see why she deserves people's daggers thrown at her so frequently. Though I have a few ideas.

I've been a fan of hers way before Grey's went through the roof. I first saw her in Under Siege 2 and later on in the dreary Roswell. (Bride Of Chucky anyone?)

I like her but I don't think she's an amazing actress. She's only average at best. And I think this is part of the problem some people have with her. Hate to break this to you guys but, sometimes, just sometimes an actress gets really famous and recognised even though she's just average when it comes to talent. Well actually it happens alot nowadays to be fair but anywho.

Also in the same vein, she can look very average from time to time too. I think she's attractive myself but some people think she looks like a reck.

So my point it (finally I hear you cry) is that some people might feel resentful towards her because they think she's overrated in both talent and appearance.

That my friends is also her strength and the secret to her success. She can be the girl from down the street, she can be the girl you saw flip out at the store and she can be the nice girl you wanna meet after you've gone after all the 'super-hot' ones and been shot down.

Bascially she's normal. She's not trying to be a 'movie star' or something else she's not. She'd just an actress who's been on a couple of hit tv shows and now has a couple of hit movies under her belt.

Give the girl a break.

Besides, she's been in the industry and paying her dues for YEARS. The whole point of this career is to make it big on the big screen; she'd be crazy to miss this chance. Although, I do like Izzy on Grey's (at least until they tied her together with George). I LOVED Izzy when they had Denny on.

She's a gorgeous looking girl, but I don't get the hoopla over her so-called blockbuster movies. I saw them both and was disappointed both times. Imo she's a mediocre actress on the big screen. I've never seen Grey's so I won't comment on it. But I don't forsee a major movie career for her based on what I've seen so far. I think Aniston is a superior actress compared to her...and seems to be better liked by fans.

can't say i blame her... grey's has been pretty lame this season. even after what Isaiah Washington said, i don't care. one person makes a difference, i think they just try too hard now to make it just as good, and add too many people. she prooved that she cant act, i always thought she could. whereas i'd really rather not see patrick dempsey acting in movies. just doesn't work
