Showtime has submitted Mary Kate Olsen for an Emmy.The process costs several hundred dollars so people don’t do this unless they’re very serious about it.She’d be up for best guest actress for her role as Tara Lindman on Weeds if she makes it through the first round of actors’ votes.Oh, and guess who else is getting Emmy buzz before the show she taped has even aired…Lindsay Lohan for her part of Ugly Betty!People are also saying that CBS will officially enter Britney Spears’ episodes on How I Met Your Mother for consideration.

The only one I have seen was Britney. It was just a normal, average performance. Not something that stoodout. I think that everybody had such low expectations that people think she’s an amazing actress for not falling on her face.
Definitely Britney. She was so cute on her first episode and I just saw a clip of her second one and she LOOKS stunning!!
I found Britney very Funny. I think she should win not because she was the better actress but because she was very different where the others didn’t surprise me.
Ok first of all, MKO has totally been to rehab. She went to Cirque Lodge in 04 or 05 I forget for an “eating disorder”. Yep I guess not eating food and instead eating cocaine and pills is kind of a disorder. I love weeds but I wanted to smack MKOs character across the mouth. Not cause she was all preachy but because she looked and sounded like a damn Olsen Troll.
Never watched How I Met Your Mother but again I think people were just amazed that she acted all normal and whatnot.
Out of the three Lindsay is 100% the better actress, remember when she was, like, good? Like in Mean Girls. That being said they’re gonna give this shit to Britney just so people will watch the Emmys and see if she looks human and what her hair looks like. Brit Brit on a red carpet? It’s been too long…

Eck…there have got to be better options out there! I haven’t seen MK on Weeds, nor obviously Lindsay, but Britney was subpar in HIMYM – she reminded me of a high school kid in their first play, nervously and eagerly over-acting in every scene.
How about a real actress winning an Emmy who actually deserves it for their acting ability, not just because a show is “stunt-casting” to get some needed ratings during crucial advertising season…it’s a joke and it wrecks the show…it’s not like any of us could forget we were watching Britney Spears!

Britney ! I would say Lindsay would be a good choice but she can’t act her way out of a paper bag anymore. She traded her talent for little white lines of love.
I think the lighting/wardrobe/makeup team at How I Met Your Mother should get an Emmy for the Britney episodes. She looks clean, healthy, no bad weave or blotchy skin in sight…the pap photos tell a different story. They worked some kind of magic to turn back the clock and bring us the girl that conquered the world.

Love Weeds! I can’t wait for the 4th season. Although MK was really good, I think her character was kinda useless. She didn’t do a whole lot except hook up with Silas and sell the goods. Not worthy of an Emmy.

Ok, a few hundred dollars to a show budget is literally like a couple of nickels to you or me. And a really good return on investment for cheap/free publicity for doing it, it will make all the blogs (Ahem, it just made this one) and all the gossip rags, and most legit press as well. Short of an upskirt no panties shot, can’t get a better return on investment, and this is the good press, not the panty-less bad kind that is not covered in real press.
None of the above! But I guess Ill go with the OLSEN… the one that hasnt been in rehab or prison.
