Ashlee Simpson And Pete Wentz At LAX

They are starting to look alike aren't they? Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson are sharing flat iron secrets because I am definitely seeing some resemblance in the way they style the front of their hair. PS, I would LOVE to know how to do that. I still end up looking semi-frizzy after I get through mine. Here is the happy couple at LAX. Ashlee even stopped to take a picture with some of our troops.
UPDATE: Jessica Simpson has confirmed that she is Ashlee's maid of honor. When asked by People Magazine,
"Of course."

Go over it slowly a few times and comb it right before. A little product wouldn't hurt either. Try L'Oreal professional hair mix supreme smooth. My boyfriend uses it on my crazy frizzy hair and it comes out smooth as silk when he does all of the above. Mind you when I do it myself it doesn't come out as well. But he's a hairdresser so it's ok I hope.
Well said, Jess!
they are freaks!!!!! so fugly the both of them!
God bless those troops:)
I'm starting to get sick of seeing these 2. Ugh. As for the hair, like #1 said: you need to go over it a few times and make sure you use product in your hair, that's the essential! A hot iron styling cream when your hair is towel dried and then pomade after you flat iron it. I use Got 2 B hair products, they're pretty good. Without hair products, your hair will still end up frizzy. Just use sparingly because too much of it will make your hair look heavy and greasy (Ashlee's hair has too much of it in this pic).
What's with the glasses. OMG! Did she look in the mirror and say "Wow, these look really good on me"!! Whoops...probably couldn't see herself!!
Hey Vera!
I read in People Ashlee and Pete both have some kind of Japanese Straightning done to their hair so it stays board straight like that all the time. I'm so looking into finding more about it!
it's so flat it looks greasy..
Jaime, there are lots of places that offer a 'straightening' perm. It's a lengthy process, and it fries your hair, just like any other processing does, but it's nice to not have to straighten your hair all the time. You can find these services offered in salons that cater to a mostly ethnic clientèle. It can be costly too. If you go to a regular salon, then it'll be considered a 'specialty' and you'll be charged up the wazoo.
What the girls said Vera. Product, product, product. You start with a smoothing product (look for words like smooth, straight, and frizz-free) on your towel dried hair. The trick to poker straight hair, is how to blow it out. For good straightening, you need to blow dry your hair until it is almost dry. Then separate into small sections, and blow dry using a large round brush, or paddle brush (all depends on your experience/comfort). Give an allover blast of cool air once you're done. Before using your iron, you'll need to apply a thermal product (I'm partial to Joico 'Silk Results'). This will protect your hair, and help prevent the acceleration of damage. (When you iron your hair without product, and you see smoke coming off of it, or hear it sizzle, then you are in fact frying it. The thermal product will help coat your hair)
Also, use these products sparingly, a little goes a long way. Dime-sized dollop is a good way to go. Same applies to planning your straightening mission. Dividing your hair into small sections will make it more manageable to work on your own head.
omygoodness her hair is so greasy!!!! yikes. that's what my hair looks like after i've been in bed ill for three days straight. naturally stick-straight hair that is then flat-ironed and left unwashed- and re-flat-ironed day after day- will get that look.
notice how even the lower ends of her hair in the ponytail/half bun are stick straight too? that's bc she over-straightened for multiple days in a row without washing.
vera you have much better hair than that!
She's as FAKE as SNOW-WITE!!
THE INSIDE OF HIS NOSE IS SNOW-WHITE!!
I have natural spiral curly hair, and i flat iron every day. I use neutrogena leave in conditioner and use Nexxus heat protect spray. A little hairspray after, my hair is never frizzy. I try to use as little product as possible
I love her glasses does anybody know where to get a pair and how much...they look like raybans so does anybody know of a good knock-off lol<3
Use Herbal Essences Moisturizing shampoo & conditioner (the blue bottle). That stuff moisturizes really well! I have naturally oily hair so I can't even use it because it works so well, I use the purple bottle (Curls & waves). But I gave the rest of the blue bottle to my friend and she says that it makes her hair super silky when and helps keep it that way when she flat irons her hair. Also, make sure you have a flat iron with ceramic plates, as metal plates dry your hair out and make it prone to frizzing.
those 2 make me laugh but they are a unique couple. they have their own individual style...not your typical LA posers
Got-2-B CrazySleek hit iron serum works well for me, and it's pretty cheap at your local grocery stores.
It also depends on what iron you use. You can get a Chi iron for about $120 in some places like Ulta Cosmetics. The cheapers ones can work just as well, depending on how straight or curly your natural hair is. Mine was about $70, and it works pretty well for my slightly wavey hair. If they have ceramic on it, too, that always a plus.
Also, if you blow dry your hair COMPLETELY before straightening it, it'll also be a little more easy to manage.
http://www.hi-earphones.com/-c-95.html - This website sells Chi's for cheap. I'm not 100% sure why, since it seems to me a mobile phone website, but they do have chi's in a few different colors for cheaper. Dont worry this isnt spam, haha. I just happened to do a quick search for info on the Chi and found this site.
The twat and Asslee is back in the states, I thought they were going to elope in Europe.
vera,
i have naturally curly hair and i get the japanese straightening done (called magic straight) every year. it is in short, amazing. you don't have to blow dry, put any product, or straight iron your hair for an entire year. contrary to popular belief, it does not fry your hair if they do it correctly. every one always compliments my hair and says it looks super healthy. if you want to know more i'll be happy to send ya to my person!
Caitlin,
They are Ray-Bans, the new Wayfarer's to be exact. You can find some pretty good websites that can get the price down on 'em.
I personally really like them too. :)
Are we still believing the whole pregnancy thing? Cause she looks to me like she has had a good case of the up-chucks (that's lingo for throwing up)
Lisa I'm with you on this one. If you want your hair to look like this just dont wash it for a week and then flat iron it!! If my hair looked like that after I flat ironed it I would immediately wash it and start over.
Yep, she needs to do something with her hair. It looks like she hasn't washed it for ages.
You should never have to use any kind of product on your hair to get it that straight; even if your hair is frizzy and curly. All you need is a comb, ceramic straight iron, hair drier and round bristle brush.
All you do is dry your hair with the bristle brush as straight as you can get it with the hair drier. Then take the ceramic straight iron after that in sections and as you pull the straight iron through the hair comb after it. You should be able to just pull through it a few times and your hair will fall flat and straight and non-frizzy without any product.
CP PLEASE I actually beg you to change shampoos. That stuff is HORRIBLE for your hair and dries it out so badly. Use something like Aveda (yes its kind of pricy but there are other brands and products that work just as well).
And Jewel there are actually chemical straighteners that don't fry or do anything bad to your hair. They actually improve your hair. There is a brand called "Barbar" and they do a chemical straightener that you can colour on top of, makes your hair shiny like in shampoo commericials, and actually leaves it really healthy.
My Uncle has done it on me before and it works WONDERFUL. He has done it on a bunch other people before and everyone loves it. You just have to get your roots touched up if you want it pin pin straight every so often like you would colour your hair. I however like it when it grows out a little bit because it will fluff the top up a bit more.
oh and btw jewel. That is so not true those are the only places or most places that do it. If you go to any basic salon really they do it. You just have to ask. And you can find them for a not so bad price just depends on where you live or where you go.
and actually 9 times out of 10 when you hear sizzleing coming off from the flat iron it means your hair is still wet (which i know A LOT of girls do in a rush) or your flat iron is set way to high for your hair.
