I know we've had a lot of Sarah Jessica Parker on the site today, but I just HAD to post these pictures of her and the rest of the cast at the premiere of Sex and the City in London...with an interesting ummm....hat? on her head.Check out what my cyber friends are writing about.

Whatever. The whole cast looks AMAAAAAAZZZING. SJP can do NO WRONG on the fashion front, if you ask me. I LOVE her. I am SO gonna grab my best gay and see this thing!
I'm sure it's great for publicity, because as you can see looking around the net, that picture is plastered everywhere. But.... yuck.

Maybe it's me, but Lindsay's leggings look.........cheap (and I don't mean quality).
Love the dress, and the colour, although different, suits her. The hat I could leave, but of course it's for publicity purposes. She's playing Carrie here, not herself.

So what are you saying Otis, that because this is a movie that appeals to women it is to be dismissed as a "chick flick", ie light fluff, that women will drag their poor, down-trodden men to see? It makes me think back to when I was younger and less assertive, and I sat through endless "action movies" filled with mindless violence, and no plot of substance to think of. There are good and bad films which appeal to either gender or both.
Why the hell is the premiere in London and not New York?
That ridiculous headpiece must have been done by John Galliano. He loves to make fashion victims like SJP look like atrocious jokes.

I went to the premiere and I think all four of the Sex women looked good.
But Kim Cattrall looked the best in her gorgeous red Vivienne Westwood dress.
She looked even better at the after-party when she removed her sandals and went barefoot!
The philip treacy hat *is* something you can pull off in London. They love love love their hats, the more outragious the better.
I seriously doubt she would put it on in the states. Even for the sake of fashion.

I may not be a huge fan of the hat, but it's very Carrie and very Sex and the City. It works for the whole premiere/package/etc. Little disappointed in Kristen Davis....pretty dress, but boring.
SJP is HIIIIIIIIIIDEAOUS! She really shouldn't draw anymore attention to her fugly face! Get a nose job Mr. Ed!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah Con, I just don't see alot of fella's finding a good reason or two beyond accompanying their wives of GF's to go spend hard-earned money on this movie.

Nor do I Otis now that the plot has been revealed all over the Internet. I loved the TV series, but don't think I'll be seeing this film. It's like when you read a great book, see the film afterwards and it really disappoints. Not being American, I prefer what they would call foreign films anyway, especially British and French. And if my guy doesn't want to see it, I go by myself. Each to their own.
