Jimmy Fallon Replacing Conan O'Brien

It looks like late night hosts are just playing musical networks. Jimmy Fallon has just been named as the host of NBC's Late Night show. He'll replace Conan O'Brien, who is replacing Jay Leno on the Tonight Show. The CEO of NBC said,

"Jimmy is more than just a likeable guy and a great comedian, he is genuinely interested in what people have to say."

Will you keep watching the Late Night Show without Conan, or will you follow him over to the Tonight Show?

Jimmy Fallon is not a great comedian. I couldn't stand him on SNL or elsewhere.

HUH?? We don't get any of the news over here in Europe..
Jay quits? And why does Conan have to move to Jay's show? Why switch and end things? (btw, I've been an "obsessed" Conan fan for almost 12 years now). I need to google this, you really made me confused Vera :'(

Hell no, Im following Conan. Hopefully he will not have to tone down his show and can take his band with him. Got to love Labamba, the Vivino brothers, and Pender. Max is a hack drummer but he is great for skits. So is Joel and Pierre Bernard. Hopefully they can also take Vigoda. As far as Fallon he is niether professional or funny. I have yet to see him on SNL when he can keep from laughing, so good luck Jimmy. Finally ill be able to sleep at night. Come to think of it, Ill just watch Ferguson wipe your ass with the floor. Damn you rapid eye movement

I'll watch both. Conan is by far the funniest and most interesting late night host. I'll give Fallon a chance and see how well he does. I think its a good move for both of them

A substitute for the unique stylings of Conan O'brien simply doesn't exist.
But if you were to have a shot at it, Fallon doesnt even fit in the same country, let alone ball park. At least Conan isnt retiring from TV all together.

I will watch Fallon and see how it goes. I cant help but think people are not taking into account how absolutely horrid Late Night was back 13+ years ago. This goof of a guy with absolutely stupid jokes and skits that slowly over MANY years gathered a following and became the Conan we know today. If Fallon is to make it then he needs to do things his way and not try to fill the shoes of Conan, it cant be done. And if Conan is to make it he needs to stick to what he knows and not try to be Jay or Johnny... Good Luck to them both!

WOW!?! Fallon? im so surprised that the NBC staff made such a great move. No disrespect to Conan, he's a great host, but i would enjoy Fallon so much more.

Good job NBC!
