Why does Shia LaBeouf continue to say things that make me fall in love with him more and more each day? All this teasing! When asked what some of his vices were, Shia said women.
“I have my vices and that includes women. Not that I have time for relationships as such, but that doesn’t mean I have to live like a monk, right? As vices go, women are right up there with my favorites. In fact, women are probably the best vice in the world.”
Yum! But then he goes into “inability to commit” mode and I lose that tingly feeling. Then again, why should he commit? He is young and should really be enjoying the moment.
“I try to be respectful but sometimes women are looking for more commitment than I’m able or willing to give. I can’t commit myself to one woman for any length of time. But I love their company intensely.”
In other news, did anyone get to see him on SNL? Some of those skits were pretty funny!

So basically Shia is saying that he enjoys women and their company. What’s wrong with that? He’s not ready to jump into a long-lasting relationship and that absolutely does NOT mean he is a man whore. He’s charming and young. Let him do what he wants.

All he said was I enjoy women. What’s wrong with that? You don’t have to be a whore to date and go out alot, male or female. WHat makes you a whore is not caring who you spend your time with and how. I don’t think he just sleeps with anyone, and I think at 21 or 22 you should go out and enjoy the company of the opposite sex. I am an older woman and I wish I would have taken my time a little more. He enjoys the compnay of women–thats great! Too many young stars get attached and it ends horribly. As long as he doesn’t mislead, lie to, or cheat–he is ok. You can still be a good guy and date different women. When he is ready to settle down he will, besides I read that he still is a little hurt from his first real girlfriend, he is just trying to enjoy himself before he goes there again. Give him a break. It isn’t like George Clooney, Jaimee Fox, Leo DiCaprio, etc. don’t enjoy the company of many women. He is being honest. I hope someone agrees with me.

I think he’s finding the nicest way to say that he sleeps around with women (actually, probably girls). He sounds like an idiot, and I am losing respect for him every time he says one of these bonehead comments.
I’m sure he doesn’t need to settle down, but he also doesn’t have to take advantage of the young idiotic women who are throwing themselves at him. Maybe he knows that what the critics are saying about him in Indiana Jones is right, and he only has a short time left in the limelight? Probably not, though, I think he’s a great actor. Just needs to grow up a bit.
