Cate Blanchett and her 1 month old son
Ignatius were spotted on their way to the Heathrow Airport in London. I adore Cate and I love that she's managed to juggle a great career and being a mom all at once. I'm curious what you all think of the name Ignatius? Would you call him Iggy for short?
Bauer Griffin
I would call him Iggy for short!
I like unique names!
isn't a month old a little too young to be on the plane??
look how tiny he is! people got to travel a month old or 100 years old!
I love the name Ignatius... That was my uncle's name "Ignazio"
I DO NOT like the name Ignatius, so actually Iggy would be an improvement. If one day my daughter one told me that is what she is naming her baby, I guess I could learn to love the name.
It's an old and noble name. It's the kind of name you'd hate as a kid and grow into as an adult. Being named after a Saint is never a bad thing.
This again is another FAKING and ****ING name made up by another FAKING and ****ING "celeb"!!
Poor kid, having a name like that. I'm sure he'll get teased alot in school.
I'd rather call him Nate for short. Iggy is very eww
What was she thinking when she named her son that??!!!
My brother's name is Ignacio, which is a really common name in south america (we're from Argentina). We used to call him Iggy when he was little but now that he's older he prefers Nacho, the usual nickname for that name - I guess you know that now thanks to Ugly Betty's dad, haha..
I really like that name but it's still not the same as "Ignatius" which is the original name and sounds a little weirder, especially in the US where those aren't common names at all.
Love Cate, love the name!
