Cate Blanchett Will Never Get Plastic Surgery

Cate Blanchett recently told British Glamour Magazine that she won't be getting plastic surgery anytime soon. She's proud of the imperfections on her face and doesn't want to get rid of them.
"I see someone's face, someone's body who has had children, and I think they're the song lines of your experience, and why would you want to eradicate that? Death is not going to be any easier just because your face can't move."
She's currently 39. Will she be singing the same tune in 10 more years?

I completley agree with her! Go Cate!!
I love the sentiment, but Hollywood pressure is a weighty thing. However, I think she can be equated more with classic talent like Meryl Streep and Diane Keaton (women who look to be aging gracefully) than others who rely on seemingly weekly injections of Botox and regular surgeries...
agree with Lili : Go Cate!
I think this is a genuine comment, plus, I love how witty her lines are.
When you're Talented and Have " Class" you don't need Plastic Surgery. Look at Meryl Streep.
Cate is so Refreshing.
Yea, she says that now....
i believe she'll be saying the same in 10 years time.
Most actresses in England have not had plastic surgery. The pressure to do it is not as intense in Europe.
Look at the top English actresses and you will note they have not had surgery.
Helen Mirren
Judi Dench
Brenda Blethyn
It's easy to be happy with what you've got when you're 39, have kids and look like Cate...
what a great quote :)
plus she looks A - MA - ZING!
I doubt she'll ever need it !; )
She'll prob be like Streep... there's such a thing as aging gracefully, even in Hollywood!
She's flawless! Beautiful! Exquisite and classy :)
I think so. She's beautiful, elegant, and if that's what she looks like now, at 39, she won't need it in 10 years.
Your Great Cate ! You're beautiful just as you are and a class act.
Easy to say that when you have PERFECT skin and a great body - if she was saggy/wrinkled up, she might think differently - then again, don't want to end up emotionless and terrifying like Nicole Kidman
