By plane, by speedboat, by helicopter. It’s almost as if I am talking about a Bond movie. But alas, it is just Angelina Jolie showing her family (Brad Pitt, Maddox and Pax Thien) a good time. MAN! Sounds exactly like my childhood… if going on a variety of helicopter rides sounds like sitting on my front stoop with friends. 
What a boring life I had.Has anyone taken a helicopter ride before? The closest I got was a 4 person plane and let’s just say I left with less than I walked on with. Can’t handle too much motion. Heck, the teacup ride at Disney had me sprawled out on the floor for a good twenty minutes… forget about THIS!

Anonymous and Em, I’m curious… So in your estimation, it’s a sin to take your kids on separate outings that cater to their different ages and interests?
I wonder if the same people who criticize Angelina for taking Maddox and Pax on a helicopter ride also criticized her for leaving them at home while she took Shiloh and Zahara on that shopping trip a couple of days ago. (Trust me, a very brief Internet search will uncover those photos.) Or what about the day Brad took Maddox out by himself. Does that make him a bad father?

vera i have motion sickness and i take Gravol for when i going on long trips or amusement rides…. thank God 4 it otherwise id miss out on a lot
The only reason her husband is so damn hott and do-able (to me) is because I know a dude who looks exactly like him if he had black hair. Holy cow… every time I see this gut I melt and giggle and he just kinda smiles like “ok crazy girl… I know I’m hott but come on, get over it.” LOL

but canuckgirl…she only took shiloh out once in how long??? she took all her other kids (madox, pax & zahara) together and separately everywhere!! Yes, it is nice for angelina to take her kids out separately, but come on, every one of the kids should be able to spend quality time with their parents “equally!” She seem to favor her adopted kids over her biological child.

Anyway, I’ve never been on a helicopter ride, but I would love to some day! I love going on planes and rollercoasters and all that. I’ve never had a problem with motion sickness, luckily!
When do these kids go to School? Their life is spent being Paraded Around the World for Phopt Ops. Hopefully these two will consider the kids needing Stability. They are not Acessories. Just because brangelina has Nannies & Staff, four kids and two more on the way should take up more of their time. And I’m not talking about CNN & Magazine Covers.
So I guess Angelina isn’t actually on bed rest like certain magazines have been proclaiming lately.
I live on Kaua’i and tourists love to go on heli rides…all I know is that every so often we have crashes and there is no way I would ever go on one! Plus, I too consistently get motion sickness…
I went on a Helicopter ride in Maui. It was beautiful up there.
These kids need to go to school and make friends and learn how to share and mingle with others. Honestly I can see this ‘plan’ of theirs going really south if they keep dragging these kids all around the world all the time. They are going to resent their parents, be very anti social and never know where their place is. Just cuz THEY are rich and famous does not mean their children are not going to be ok in the long run.

my boyfriend took me on a helicopter ride over manhattan for christmas a few years ago… its a fantastic way to see the sites… it was an amazing experience… these are very lucky kids!
whenever I see them I always wonder how many kids they’re going to end up with.I have a feeling this is the last one.
my family and i went to visit my cousins in new zealand and my dad took me and my two brothers fly fishing. to get to the place where we were going to fish we had to take a helicopter ride. i was only 11 at the time and i thought the reason they called it fly fishing was because we had to fly to where we were going to fish! haha. i was so naive
the reason we had to fly there was because it was this huge rock that jutted out of a cliff in the middle of the ocean. it was gorgeous.
My husband is a helicopter pilot and let me say- SUCH A THRILL! It’s truly amazing that these kids are able to do these types of ‘fun’ activities on a regular basis. Wow… expensiiiiiiiivvvvvveeeeee fun!
I was fortunate enough to fly in an APACHE through the Grand Canyon years and years ago with my ex-stepdad. It was an amazing experience, but I did get quite nauseous!
I’ve been on a helicopter ride, too, years ago. It was fun and I don’t recall getting sick.
Not yet, but we are going to take one when we go to Kauai later this year. I guess I need to make sure I have some dramamine with us when we go.
What a fun time! Like Tara I took a heli around the Grand Canyon (into it, actually…we landed at the bottom and then rafted the Colorado for a few days) and it was far less nauseating than a small plane. Go for it!
