Britney Spears In A Minor Fender Bender

People Magazine reported that yesterday Britney Spears was driving her Mercedes and accidentally ran into a red Ford Explorer in front of her. No police report was filed and the Ford Explorer was given a business card by Britney's bodyguard and followed Ms. Spears home. Britney was in a car accident last month as well.

"I think she was just distracted," said a witness. "She just tapped the other car in front of her."

Isn't there a law that states after so many accidents your not allowed to drive anymore? Do you think Britney can't drive, or is it the paparazzi that hinder her from being a safe motorist?

I have never been THAT distracted that I bumped into the car in front of me. I don't get it? If you drive concentrate on the road and the other cars around you. How difficult can it be? I would have been totally annoyed if that was me she bumped into.

She was distracted because she was either texting or on her cell phone....why do people automatically blame the paparazzi?? It's always somebody elses fault isn't it?...hell let blame the lady in front...she should have move out of her way! Some nerve of her.

For heaven's sake HIRE A DRIVER!!! What an IDIOT! She has accidents like others have coffee!! Distracted???? I certainly hope she never drives when and IF she gets her kids back!

I'm beginning to think she shouldn't be allowed to drive. It seems it doesn't take too much to distract her.

i dont' think the paparazzi ever stop distracting her. I can't even imagine. I don't, however, think she should be driving either. Too much, too soon. I know she loves to drive, but dayum! Let your bodyguard do it. Until things calm down for her she needs to take all the precautions she can

people should just leave this poor girl alone, everyone has been in a fender bender, enough already, it's disgusting, who the hell cares anymore.

I'd like to see you folks drive any better with the masses of paparazzi that constantly surround her.

Linda Linda said:

Tina...she gets in little fender benders at least once a month. Not normal! You'd care if it was you she was bumping into all the time.

I read somewhere else that what happened was the lane beside her or the left lane got a green arrow and she thought she could go, so she bumped the lady in front. I know I have inched forward before in those circumstances so that's probably all she did. Like they said she didn't SLAM into her, she BUMPED her. For that matter I bumped a lady in a McDonalds drive through once because I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing. The other ladies car wasn't hurt and the only thing on mine was the front license plate holder. Stuff happens. I am glad she is doing well.

Yes accidents happen. The rest of us learn from them and dont continue to repeat them tho. THATS the difference.

Mabe it's her medication...just saying.

Stuff happens and no matter how SMALL if it is Britney Spears it will make news. She is doing well. BEST WISHES TO BRITNEY!!!

How many times can you get into a fender bender in one year and still have a license??!?!?! Seriously. "was not paying attention" haha understatement of the century. When the light turns red you stop and when the light turns green you go. Kinda basic stuff here. If this were the first time... ok, but wow. Ms. Spears need to take a lesson from Ms. Richie and head to traffic school.

One more thing...... Piece of advise to the red car..... "I think my neck hurts" just sayin.....

Poor Britney, she can't do right for doing wrong.

It was hardly a multiple car pile-up.
It was just a little bump.

Having said that, if I were her I would be more than happy to pay for someone to drive me wherever I wanted to go.
Surely it would be much more relaxing to be a passenger, especially with all of the paparazzi crowding the vehicle?

I don't think she's in any condition to drive.

Julie Julie said:

I'm sure the paparazzi don't help matters much, but you would think after all of these accidents she would pay a bit more attention. Is it going to take someone getting hurt (her sons for example) for her to do that?

Can't blame the papparazzi on this one. They were no where near her.
