Uma Thurman On The Set of Motherhood

Uma Thurman was photographed relaxed and laughing while filming her new movie, Motherhood in NYC. Wardrobe is making her look very bohemian aren't they? The movie itself sounds hilarious, especially since I am going through it as we speak.

In Manhattan, a mother of two preparing for her daughter's sixth birthday party has no idea of the challenges she's about to face in order to pull off the event.

Right up my alley. Always enjoy the mommy humor and Uma is just wonderful on the big screen.

Ugh, I can't stand kids' birthday parties, especailly today's pressure to have the biggest and most expensive parties. I remember when I was a kid, you invited a couple of friends over and had a cake and that was it. Not like today where you have to go to Chuck E Cheese and spend $400, plus loot bags, plus, plus, plus. It's getting out of hand and it's ridiculous. Bah, I sound like the worst parent, but really, why does everything have to be consume oriented? It really offends me. LOL.

Oh, the joys of planning parties for the young ones! They don't have to be big and expensive. You can be creative, but I have learned that all the kids really want to do is run around and play. Virtually Free!
