Is anyone else not receiving the registration email for the user account?? I've tried everything today and it's just not coming through. :(
Me either... it doesn't work or something. I signed up and checked my mailbox (even the bulk folder)... still nothing.
If you haven't received your registration email, first make sure you check all bulk/junk/trash folders, just in case your service provider decided it was spam. If you've already done that, you can always use the contact form to send us an email. Select "Technical Support". We'll get you squared away.
This is a catastrophe Vera. I don't quite know what you are attempting to do but the page layout is deplorable and the filtered words are REPLACING THE LINKS!
I like this outfit very much. It is tres chic. However, I do not like these shoes with this outfit-they do not work. They are too heavy and black. She needs something slightly lighter with this flirty skirt and more elegant in a form. Blouse sits oddly on her especially over her breasts. Outfit is perfect, on her it is so so, shoes got to go.
on a sidenote-I do not like page layout, everything is crammed, there are too many things, it looks messy and too busy.
yes, the new layout is busy. it feels like there are ads everywhere. I know that's not the case..but that's how it feels. And that huge ad sucking up your entire webpage banner! Ack! The sentences are all getting cut off and messed up. I hope it smooths out in the next few days as you tweak it. :)
Ugh! And please UNCHECK that "email me about all replies to this article" by default! It's a great feature but let us click it if we want to! Please!
I've unchecked the box for "Passerby" people. Now we'll just wait to see if anyone complains in the opposite direction ;-)
NOTE: For registered members, you can set this option by editing your account profile. In the box called "Comment follow up subscription settings" there is a checkbox for "Receive comment follow-up notification e-mails". Whatever you do with that checkbox determines the default setting for the "comment subscribe" checkboxes on all the other pages.
Agreed on the layout. I can appreciate good web design where it's needed, but if it ain't broke don't fix it. This (along with Vera turning into a Celeb wannabe what with all the events she's covering and all the weight isses that all-of-a-sudden matter) means my visits here are increasingly less frequent.
I don't think it's fair to say that Vera's a celebwannabe! It's great that she's covering events for us and getting to meet some of these celebs firsthand! I don't think she's gone "Perez" on us or anything! Geez!
Vera's certainly not a Perez in the making, but definitely not the just-like-you-and-me blogger that I found a few years ago. I just find it weird that you can write about and provoke/invoke discussion on a celeb (which can get a bit hairy, as we all know) and then sidle up to them for photographs a few days later. There's absolutely nothing wrong with being a fan, and I appreciate some people find it exciting, but I think a level of distance is needed for a blog like this not to disappear up its own arse.
ok, I know I have already posted 3 times here but I am in love with this outfit. Anybody has any idea about the skirt and the blouse??? Please let me know. Or maybe something similar, so hopefully I would not have to sell my car to buy this outfit.
Elina - try modcloth. they usually have something similar to the styling of the shirt. For me personally the skirt needs a bit more detailing at the waist, as it looks a bit like a reeeeeeeally small sized full-length skirt sitting a lot higher than it should do :) If you find something that announces the waist a bit more, do post back won't you?!
I like the outfit, except for the shoes. I agree -- they're too dark and heavy-looking. Also, personally, I don't like high-heels. I think they damage feet and posture. In my opinioin, Posh's feet show some signs of high-heel damage -- just look at how the her veins and tendons pop out. I know high-heels are popular, but oh well.
I'm stepping up there to say I think she is pregnant - I know she's totally not showing (obviously!), but in the most recent pictures of her, it seems her face is fuller, and her boobs are bigger than ever! :-)
TOTALLY AGREE! I do think Posh is pregnant too, or possible weight gain to try to fall pregnant?...or perhaps she's been super sizing her meals (of sushi since she lives in LA now. Boobs definately much fuller. She'd definately be trying again for another soon , seeings as now they are settled properly in the US now.
What's with the giant-one-size-too-big shoes?
I love that blouse she's wearing and the skirt, too. But the shoes aren't right. A nice soft grey alpaca leather shoe would have looked better.
