NO! Shania Twain and her husband have decided to divorce after 14 years of marriage. Obviously, we won't learn why considering Shania is an extremely private person. Whatever the reason, Shania seems like such a wonderful person so warmest wishes to her family.
"Shania Twain and her husband, music producer Robert 'Mutt' Lange, are separating after 14 years of marriage," spokesman Jason Owen says in a statement. "This is a private matter and there will be no further comment at this time."

That's sad news. :( They have a child don't they? Isn't he her producer as well??
They have a 6 year old son.
So sad!! The quote says separating.. maybe they will work it out?? I sure hope so with everything she's been through in her life she deserves a happy ending!

That surprised me. I know she had a hard life before her fame with having to raise her siblings after their parents were killed in a car accident.
I didn't even know she was married. Hopefully things will work out for everyone involved, esp. the child(ren).
BTW it's different that the statement is straight to the point instead of saying we respect each other and will remain the best of friends. That always makes me cringe because it's such a generic statement that probably isn't true.
I know this is totally irrelevant, but look at that dress... it's incredibly similar to what Hayden P wore to the Oscars a couple years ago

Aww, that's sad news.
Wasn't it "weird" when she had a son? No one ever saw her pregnant and a few months after giving birth she was stick thin and there was some speculation that she didn't give birth? Does anyone remember that? Not that it matters, but just wanted to know if they figured it out yet! lol
I just don't understand how after FOURTEEN YEARS together, they couldn't come up with a compromise to whatever problems they're going through..

...but then again, i guess if one side doesn't wanna change, there's not much you can do...
They live in Switzerland, so that's probably why no one saw her pregnant. You pretty much don't see her unless she's on tour or promoting an album.
