Ok gang,
so this layout was a complete bust. Thanks to everyone who sent constructive cristism. My developer and I have come up with something very similar to what I used to have and it will get switched out later tonight. He just needs time to make the magic happen.
Lesson learned

I like this lay out. It's awesome. To hell with everyone else. You should keep it just to make me happy. Although I don't ever click on any of your ads and am color blind in one eye.
This layout is alot to take in. There's so much going on. I do like being able to have a profile and all that but the rest is kinda overkill.
I agree with KodiakBear288. There's just too much going on here.
I agree that this layout is awesome. You should keep it! People are afraid of change, but they'll get used to it. It's all about evolving!
Oh good, I'm glad someone mentioned it to you- I really didn't like the new layout either. But I'm a big fan of the site :) I like how you report the gossip without being overly judgemental and rude about everything- it's nice to have a more neutral media to read when it comes to celebs.
Keep it - I like it! I like having a profile, makes it more personal if people prefer. people will get used to it!
I like the new desing, its cleaner, sharper, readable. And the profile thing its a great idea, I just think you are loosing the front page when we have to scroll down to see the posts, whe dont really know where we are. it is true that the change its disconcerting, but i could get used to it if you respect the initial part as a front page.
I actually like the new design, it was a little confusing at first, but I got over it. :)
I hope you keep the profile part. Although, I signed up and never got a confirmation and it won't let me sign in or anything. LOL (and I tried the forgot password thing to no avail as well) It's not awful, it's just so busy and squashed in the middle. But ya know what..you can't make everyone happy, so you need to do it the way YOU want it and the way YOU like it. This site is YOUR baby! :D
I actually like the new layout, as well. I think it was time for a change.. the site has looked pretty much the same since I started reading it a couple years ago. I hope you keep a lot of the same things, just make it a little less busy.... I like the color schemes and the new fonts and everything, maybe just a few less things on the top!! Love your site, Vera!!
I like the layout. I promise that when you change the majority will hate it. It happens on every forum out there. Make it the way you like it, barring problems that cause peoples computers to crash, and keep it.
The new layout isnt THAT bad. I think it's just a TAD bit busy. The "Recent comments" box at the top is a little distracting. I want to click those, out of curiosity, which takes away from the actual site. And I liked the Next and Previous buttons at the bottom, rather than the numbers. I guess I just got so used to the old layout! haha
I find the page way too busy. I also would love a color change. I am very very sick of looking at Neopolitan Ice Cream.

I absolutely love the fact that the site is a lot more personal now. I LOVE that each user has their own profile so you can put a face and background to the name!! Awesome. The new layout is a little busy though, but it's an interesting concept! The colours are nice though and the whole feel of the site is good.
Hey I can post comments now. (if this doesn't work no one will see it hehe) I did have to change my name though. I like the new stuff, especially the profile.
hey it worked !!!!!! It wouldn't let me post on anything and the math questions were just too easy for it to be my error lol. It's working now though. It is really busy and I got lost in it earlier, but I do like a lot of it.
The "Angelina Jolie Confirms Due Date For Twins" never did let anyone post a comment! But overall the new design is nice, just too busy. Change is good but it just takes a while for people to get used to. I was gonna create a profile once the bugs got worked out. l
I don't really like the layout too much, there is a lot going on. However I like some of the new features; being able to have a profile, words being filtered, and a captcha so no spam gets through to the comments. I also don't really like how the comments are split into pages, I like when they're all on one page. But that's just my opinion. Other than that, love the site!
keep it!! i come here mainly to read the gossip and sometimes enter the contest. as someone who has worked in IT, there will always be a lot of people who won't like the change but they get used to it. it's your delivery of the gossip that we love and that will be the reason that people will come back. no matter what the page looks like!
Vera, I'm not sure if you've noticed or not but it looks like your auto-censors are covering URLs too.
I have a 22" screen and it's a neat looking lay out but I run it at 1200 so really there is only stuff going on in the middle.
Im glad you are changing some things back. I didnt want to post complaining about it so soon but I too thought it was waaaaaaaaay too busy with all the boxes down the sides, across the top etc. I like to get my gossip fast, not have to be assulted with ads and the latest messges people post. It will be interesting to see what you come up with next ! Thanks for listening to your readers Vera :-)

I miss the link to the next post underneath the comment box. Makes it easier to jump from one post to the next straight after you left a comment. (hint hint)
Hey after you worked out the little bugs & I was able to sign on everything was ok. I like you new layout. It's nice...I guess everyone takes change differently. IF you need to revert back please make this one change...when clicking on pictures or read more please have it open up into a new window or tab. This way it's earier to get back to where we were on the page.
I also liked the numbers on each comment. It makes it easier to reply to other people's post. I also like it better when all comments are on one page and not split.
