Ellen Degeneres And Portia De Rossi Getting Married!

Congrats to the happy couple! Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are getting married now that the California supreme court gave same sex couples the right to marry.
The pair has been dating since 2004. Ellen made the announcement on her show and the crowd went WILD and gave them a standing ovation!

dear ellen, everyday i watch the ellen degeneres show. you are soo funny and if i was gay then you would be super hot but i am not gay. i am straight. i am so happy she and portia are getting married!! i hope she gets married soon. It's pretty gross that we live in a culture in which Mariah and Nick can date for SIX WEEKS and have some lameass ceremony anywhere they please, whereas Portia and Ellen have been in love for FOUR YEARS and JUST NOW got the right to have their own nuptuals. I mean, I think it's great, but we've still got FAAAAAR to go. No fathers & daughter marrying was way back in history....lol (the king henry era is a good time period to research) Umnn back in the days they use to marry girls as soon as they hit puberty...if they menstruated they could carry a baby & then they would marry them off to some man who was old enough to be her grandpa. I think you're missing the whole point....the world is moving FORWARD. It may not be up to your moral standings but it's going to happen regardless of how you feel. Love is love...many heterosexual relationships don't last as long as some same sex couple relationship. These same sex couples that you are against..many adopt kids & give these children a happy home filled with love to grow up in. If they didn't give these kids a home the childs other option could have been growing up in an orphanage with below par education & thrown into a system that will not see the childs full potential. I can go on & on but I'll end it here.

I don't understand what is so "disgusting" about gay marriage. What do you mean it's disgusting? Are you like 12 or somehing? That is awesome!!! Not only for Portia and Ellen, but for all same sex couples who are hoping to marry in CA. I have to admit - even though I am heterosexual and happily married to my husband - if I did play for the other team... I'd marry Ellen in a heartbeat!! :D
