At Least One Person Is Happy With All The Britney Spears Media Coverage

The group of paparazzi that document Britney Spears' every move have officially met their number one fan. And that man is Kevin Federline's lawyer in THE never ending custody battle, Mark Vincent Kaplan. He is so thankful for all the coverage the pop star gets because it literally saves his client millions of dollars in private investigation fees.

"If I had to hire an investigator or investigators to provide me with the intelligence about what’s going on, where they are, how are they doing, it would be north of half a million to a million dollars… as opposed to buying People magazine for $3.95 on Thursday morning or going on (website) TMZ.

"Everyone who had a big toe in this case at every level followed what was going on by looking at the web sites."

"No other case has had the media addiction and frenzy that surrounded this case and these people 24-seven. There’s never been anything like this, and there probably won’t be for a while."

I don't know why he is making such a big deal about that. In the end, you know Britney would have had to cover the fees anyway!

For some reason, my heart really hurts for Britney. In the latest pictures of her, she looks sort of wise and resigned to some sort of knowledge that we'll just never understand (I know. I'd laugh at me, too). I could be imagining things, though. I just want to get her shit together, so I think it's kind of lame for some lawyer to celebrate the fact that she's constantly scrutinized. I mean, that would drive ME to an insane asylum in 5.4 seconds!!

Well said, Ernestine! I think Kaplan is a scumbag for the outrageous fees he charged; talk about taking advantage! And how scary that he considers tabloids as credible sources rather than hiring PI's.

I noticed that her sword, clever, knife or whatever pendant is gone and has been replaced by a cross instead since her father's intervention.

oh yeah right on mark vincent fartstain! is he serious? let the custody battle of a pop star rely in the hands of the tabloids rubbish and elaborated stories! is he even allowed to do that? like did the judge think that was ok?
im horrified, fartstain clearly only seen the dollar signs when handling this case! so with what mark stated, i can read something in a magazine or a website and use that in a court case? against a high profile celebrity? concerning children? and money? are you for reals??? it makes the so called 'system' look like a complete and utter JOKE, farstain didnt even do any work!! so why is brit payin HIM? when he is sayin the magazines did all the research! a freakin magazine with lying journo's and word twisting reporters.. im so mad oh yea thats right YOU SUCK,
manipulating, lying, deceitfull, inhumane, piece of london poop is what i think of him. how does he sleep at night? probably with people magazine rolled up and shoved up his ass

...it's better that he see it in a cheap magazine than $$ be squandered from the kids via britney to pay the investigator or attorney for something they're capable of getting virtually for free. see why it's a "big deal"?

If that is the truth, that is both pathetic and unprofessional. I enjoy reading my daily gossip but that is what it is - gossip. I would certainly not base something as important as child custody on what I read in the rags. What a disgrace to our justice system.

I saw K-Fed smokin' a fattie in a picture on TMZ. That's a bigger deal to me than anything poor Britney's done lately.

The deepest circle of hell is reserved for scabs and leeches like Mark Vincent Kaplan.
