Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry were photographed outside of Fred Segal after a day of shopping together. Glad to see these two still going strong. A lot of people thought that as soon as Halle gave birth, Gabriel would be long gone. Thankfully, that is not the case.

Halle is a beautiful woman . But somehow they do not look right (bodywise) for each other. I imagine him with someone more like Paulina Porizkova Jessica Biel type, or Cameron Diaz., or Helena Christensen. Sporty, tall, blond, maybe scandinavian but not her. On the emotinal level they might be close but visually-no.
This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever read. Thanks for giving me a good laugh this morning! I truly appreciate it.
Love this couple! Halle and GA are the most beautiful and classy couple in Hollyweird. Both are sooo insanely hot and understated and no media whore. RESPECT!!!
Elina, maybe I'm misreading your post, but are you trying to politely say you don't see him with someone of color? Frankly, I think they make a beautiful couple, "bodywise" and otherwise.
Curious, everybody in this country is hung up on color and political correctness. Being from Eastern Europe I see things differently and color is not something that figures in my mentality as it does if you grew up in USA. I also do not see need to make unnecessary excuses just because people are or not of a certain color. When you stop noticing color and address things based on merits without worrying what others will think that is when racism dissapears. Unfortunately Al Sharptons of this world are all too happy to see racism everywhere because it keeps them in business. And NO I did not mean bodywise as in colorwise. I said bodywise that this is what I meant. Halle looks like a mature woman with womanly body and in MY VIEW she will look better with older man, think George Clooneys of this world. I do not know Halle at all but she would strike me as a woman who would be more traditional (she is not Angelina) and would be interested to get married, even for the 5th time. All this pep talk about not getting married is just a cover up in my view, when you have someone who you love but not sure if he will marry you. Or maybe you are too afraid he will take your 50%, and too embarrassed to sign prenup. I mean if I would say that about Meryl Streep and Jack Black as a couple you would not mention color right??? So who sees color you or me?? I can say same thing about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt--they are great couple but physically they look different-that is all. Halle's man is young , lean, sporty...he is different... Just my 2 pennies. But as I said they must be soulmates. You might think they look gorgeous and I might think they look odd. And we can think whatever we what to think. This couple is not affected by our thinking and I am glad I can express my views the way I want to. Thanks God for USA constitution. Jeeeez, this is one huge post!!! ps. This is just gossip site but in real life do not be afraid to point out things only because someone is of a certain color. In other words, you would point out but only not to this color person. This is when people begin to feel entitled based on some characteristic. Hate to break it to ya!
Elina, while you are correct that color is an issue that occupies many Americans and your response to the poster who gathered it from your post was appropriate, I would just like to add my two cents as well. You don't mention what part of Eastern Europe you are from, but I as well live in Eastern Europe and I can say that color i san issue here. Maybe not between black and white, but think gypsies. And while in the US the main discrimination might be between white and black, there is a lot of discrimination here regarding people from other former Soveit bloc countries like Urkraine, etc. I don't write this as a justification for racism in the US; it's absolutely unacceptable. I'm just pointing out that it's a world problem that needs to be addressed because it's not just in the form of white versus black.
Hmmm...it sure sounds to me you are "noticing color". Seems like you are back tracking on your original comments. First stating someone "Sporty, tall, blond, maybe scandinavian..." would visually be a better match for him. But in this comment you state you do not 'notice color'. Strange because mentioning blond and Scandinavian as "bodywise" characteristics would suggest otherwise. If you truly believe they do not look good together due to a body/age mis-match, why include the aforementioned "bodywise" characteristic comment????? Yeah... Plus she looks "mature" due to having birth recently. I'm sure once she loses the baby weight she'll go back to having a more youthful appearance.

Elina, You made excellent points (though I think your sermon to my question was a tad overwrought). I happen to agree with your outlook, and frankly, I'm relieved that your post explained your viewpoint. Even as a woman of color, I am very much NOT a fan of Al Sharpton. If your original post had mentioned some other options for Halle (like you did with George Clooney) instead of other options for Gabriel, your comment and its intent would have been clearer. You said, "Do not be afraid to point out things only because someone is of a certain color." Again, I agree 100 percent. (I really do!) However, I'm also not going to be afraid to ask someone to clarify their views. That's how people communicate, learn, and grow.

Well, back to the subject at hand. Hallie is one of my favorite people in Hollywood. She is gorgeous and some of the best couples don't make sense to the rest of the world.
Bodywise? I've read the rebuttal to the criticism the comment initially received and I still say: Bodywise?!?! I agree, it's not okay to make racial comments, AT ALL. But to comment negatively on two people being together because of his and her respective body types? That's somehow acceptable? No wonder so many women are wrapped up in that ridiculous idea that they have to be a Victoria's Secret model (or equivalent) to be loved. What's really sad to see is women themselves perpetuating this idea that's been fed to them by a money-hungry diet and fashion industry. These two make a beautiful couple. All happy couples are beautiful. That is all.
I guess Elina didn't know about Halle's previous attempts at marital bliss. When you have had a couple really bad relationships, that does affect your way of thinking. She said she wouldn't get married again prior to meeting Gabriel so at least she is remaining true to a decision she made after her divorce to Eric Benet.
