More details are coming out about Ashlee Simpson's wedding to Pete Wentz. A missing earring, a heartfelt speech from big sis, and a reception favor that would make my daughter smile. Let's get started:

* While Jessica Simpson gave her maid of honor speech she got very choked up. Nothing was pre-written so it was from the heart and very raw. During the speech, Jessica said that Ashlee's relationship "has inspired me to love again".

** Jessica didn't look like herself the entire night though.

"Jessica did not look happy the entire night. She just wasn't her
bubbly self. She was very subdued and she and Tony barely interacted
the entire night, except for some dancing at the end.

"You could tell she was really happy for her sister, but that maybe
she was a little bit sad that things aren't working out as well for
her."

** After the cake and some dancing, Ashlee slipped into a "sexy black party dress". I never understood why people choose to get out of their wedding dress earlier than they have to. I practically slept in mine!

** Guests were required to check in their phones and cameras. Everyone understood.

** One of Ashlee's diamond earrings went missing and Pete jumped on stage to announce it.

"Pete got on the mic and told everyone to look for the earrings," the
guest says. "He said they cost more than the entire wedding!" Within a
few minutes, a guest found the missing baubles.

Last but not least... the parting gift was a red box containing a cookie inscribed "Eat Me" playing off of their Alice in Wonderland theme.
