My first pregnancy I took a profile picture once a month to track my belly growth. I had a scrapbook, a baby book and a journal. My second pregnancy, I think the only pictures I have of myself are at my daughter's birthday party a few weeks before I delivered my son. I'm just not as creative as Christina Aguilera who actually staged a photo shoot to record all of her favorite candies from her last trimester while wearing lingerie.
"I had a huge craving for candy toward the end of the pregnancy, from Starbursts to Skittles. I actually took a picture of myself with my big belly in a little lingerie top, surrounded by bowls of the candy I like."
Did you do anything special with your pregnancies? Or are you planning to?

Like I've said before, I work part time at a portrait studio, and many women come in and get pregnancy pictures, I used to hate doing it, but when my sister was pregnant, I HAD to get her to come in for pregnancy pictures! And that was a little over a month ago, and so now I dont think I'll hate it as much. I think I just didn't like it becuase pregancy is such a special thing, and I felt like I was intruding when I would ask them if they would like to take a picture of thier naked belly. But I will definatly want them of myself!

What a spook... I can see it---her house is full of mirrors and photos to look at herself---She is a legend in HER OWN WORLD! Please have 50 kids so you will disappear from public. Tranny.
I understand the pictures for keepsakes. But call me old-fashioned--when i think of taking pictures for my children to have later, I don't think of wearing a "little lingerie top."
I took profile pictures of myself too, but mostly only for the first pregnancy. I didn't keep a baby journal or anything like that. Not into that sort of thing.

Christina is awsome. I love that she's confident with her body (even when pregnant) to take pics of herself wearing a "little lingerie top." Good on her!

I will absolutely be taking pictures when I'm pregnant. I'll be doing the monthly ones, and I will certainly take naked ones when I'm about 8 months along. Tasteful naked ones that is.
I am 8 months pregnant thats why i have all sorts of pregnancy questions. Thanks ladies for all the truthful answers. My new concern is that ive been told I will lose my hair once I give birth, frightened because I have very thin fine hair to begin with. Now I see in Christina's pictures her hair has remained the same as pre-pregnancy. Color and all. Could it be a wig? Sure does look like it.
Your does NOT fall off. My mother has thin fine hair and she had 2 children and she never lost her hair. Christina does not wear a wig *rolls eyes* she may have extensions from time to time but she does not wear a wig. Really, really good responce from a a hairdresser explaining what happens to your hair during and after pregnancy "Hi! I'm a hairdresser and have had 4 children. Around 100 hairs naturally falls out of the average person head daily. When a woman gets pregnant, the follicles tightens and hold the hair in through the 9 months. (It might have been a survival thing to keep the body warmer during nuturing the baby.) When the baby is born, the extra hair is not needed anymore so it will come out. During pregnancy, your hair becomes thick and beautiful and your nails grow stronger. After the baby comes, the hair and nails seem to loose their beauty. So, you will loose the extra hair, but not like going balding. Just go to a salon and have a good trim and use a good shampoo and reconstructor from the salon. Paul Mitchell has great stuff. Ask your stylist. Normal over the counter shampoo contains alot of wax and clogges the follicle, preventing further growth." http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080428005225AAQ7wnY

Wouldn't it be great if she released the pics in the sleeve of her new album? I would love to see them, she's so cute. ~CP

Are you sure you didn't mishear because some babies lose their hair after they were born. Some don't. I lost a lot of hair during my pregnancy but now I have lots of hair again. (Not that you could see that I lost hair anyway, I just felt my hair thinning).

it's so sad the first child always gets the baby book, photos etc. the second one comes along and usually gets nothing (lol)
My sister-in-law did a full plaster cast of her 9 month belly, it's very cool. The problem now is they moved across the country and it's in my parents basement because no-one can figure out how to ship it to them, lol!
Whenever I am lucky to be with child, I will LOVE to take weekly pictures of my belly, and make them into a flipbook. Then I will harrass my child with it and show him/her how they turned me into the size of a house! j/k about the harrassing part.... :) xoxo Vanessa

Thank god!!! seriously thank god. my grandmother was the last one to tell me to enjoy my hair before it falls out. BIG relief. On another note EWWW "Sorcha" an adult rolling eyes is pathetic enough but on a forum? Grow up!
Why is rolling your eyes pathetic?

Taking belly pics is sweet, but in a little lingerie top? So typical of her. Like is that something you wanna show your kid, "look honey here you are in mommy's belly and yes thats a sheer top so you can see my breasts!".
Whenever I do get pregnant I plan on taking loads of pics. Notebook, journal, scrapbook, you name it I forsee it. And if i'm not the one doing it, then i know my boyfriend will. lol. as long as i'm not photographed surrounded by all the crazy foods of my cravings. . . o.O because that will be very bad.
