Madonna Will Receive Malawi Citizenship

What kind of present do you get to thank the woman who literally, has everything? You give her citizenship as your way of saying thanks. :) The government of Malawi has said they will make Madonna an honorary citizen because of all her work there. Aside from adopting David and calling worldwide attention to their country, she's done a documentary, and funded many orphanages. She's also said to be building a school for girls there to help the underprivileged.

"We are proud as a country to be associated with such a megastar,"
Billy Kaunda, Malawi's deputy tourism and culture minister, was
reported as saying.

"She will have freedom of all cities here. She won't be bothered with issues like visas and other limitations."
