This is the first time we've heard Kirsten Dunst talk about her quiet stay at the Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Utah. She admits that she was in trouble and struggling with the addiction.Â
"I was struggling, and I had the opportunity to go somewhere and take care of myself. I was fortunate to have the resources to do it. My friends and family thought it was a good idea, too."
So why now? Why open up about such a private matter today? Kirsten feels better and stronger these days.
"Now that I'm feeling stronger, I was prepared to say something ... Depression is pretty serious and should not be gossiped about."Â

I guess that's what happens when you're a "star"....people talk!
Going to a celeb rehab spot for depression? And we should believe that why exactly? It's not that there aren't hospitals out there that specialize in treating depressions! If she's depressed, how come that the movie's insurance company has her regularly screened for substance abuse - alcohol and cocaine? Nice try of the publicist!
Alcohol is a depressant!
