Jen, I don't agree with you, sorry but Angelina is a very beautiful woman. Her features are very unique for her race. Black and latina women have long had Angie's features, but since is on a white woman Americans somehow find it so attractive and sexy. Angie is gorgeous, I'm the type of woman who doesn't hate on a beautiful woman. I look at beautiful women and it inspires me to look good, but then I get a little depressed that I don't look like that. Angie is gorgeous, she is truly a very sexy, hot, gorgeous woman, and very talented too.

causcasian is a vast category from Iranians, Armenians, some northern Indian etchnic groups (think Ashwaraya Rai) from India to Germans, Italians, Portugese, and Spanish. Caucasian women are very different unlike women of other races. That includes all facial features and skin color. Angelinas background is Czech, French (canadian), German. Many many czech and slavic women such as polish, russian, bulgarians have very fulll lips. Also scandinavian women. Just thought you would like to know. In Europe her feauturs would not be exotic. Angelina does have very strong facial features and great facial bone structure with high cheeks and square jawline and a prominent forehead which are slightly androgenous, but look great.
She's Native American, and that's where some of the features come from. The picture is photoshoped, but all are. The technique they are using is high contrast, so it looks more airbrushed, for the lights get lighter and the darks get darker.

I am really not interested to keep an argument about Angelina's heritage but she is not native american. read commments below. I am sure Angelina would mention her native american heritage but it is not so. her mother's iroqious heritage was made up by Jon Voight and Marcheline Bertrand back in 70ies. Jon Voight later admitted that in an interview. In fact hardly ever her mother mentioned her iroqiuos heritage. However you can keep believing that she is native american, or egyptian, or an alien if you wish to do so.
Um yeah thanks for copy/pasting wikipedia. Nothing about her heritage has ever been confirmed. But the truth is that MOST of Quebec's people are of native decent. (I am from Quebec and I am part Inuit and Iroquois)
Odds are her mother has some native background. But it has not been confirmed. so who knows.

This photo is definitely NOT airbrused or touched up. Every single candid she always look AMAZING. I don't think every single photographer or paparazzi has time to airbrush every single candid photo they take. She always looks gorgeous-on the red carpet to just going to the groceries. She is a gorgeous woman.

but Jen's right, guys. Look at the real Angelina - she's got wrinkles just like other humans. In this pic, she looks unnatural. It's not jealousy - it's just that the post-processing on the pic makes her look like a doll.

the picture is airbrushed--common practice nowdays and MUST to get on Vanity Fair front cover. However, it might be airbrushed to correct skin tone and remove some dark circles. Her facial features are practically untouched--so it is not like many other celebrities where you they do not even look like themselves (Britney Spears/Christina Aquilera/Paltrow etc)

I am not impressed with her or Brad Pitt at all. I think they are a poor example for others-impersonating do-gooders( I won't get into it here).
I personally think Angelina is a nice looking woman but she is an aquired taste and not universally pretty like others like to make us believe.

Anyway, did you know that on her father's side she's Slovak and German and on her mother's side she's French Canadian and Iroquois. That's where she got her full lips from - the Iroquois side. This is absolutely correct. Angelina's mother iroquious ancestry was made up as admitted by Jon Voight in one of his interviews. She has also never mentioned it. She is as native as I am eskimo.

I don’t know but somehow she is turning into a sociliate to me. She used to love to be in the field with aid workers and spending weeks there. She flew low key, wore little make-up, and hated the fakness of hollywood and red carpets. Now she has four homes, is living in a 70 million dollar mansion, has three nannies, has walked the red carpet like 20 times in the past year and rarely goes to the field (I know she went to Iraq to visit the troops but really spending like 2-3 weeks with the poor people she doesn’t do now). And look at this picture so joan collins like. She just seems to have gone from so authenic to so cheesy. Instead of focusing her fame on others like she used to she seems to talk about herself all the time. She is just so changed in the last couple of years and I personally don’t think for the better. COME BACK ANGIE! BE TRUE TO YOURSELF!

Good grief, people, what magazine cover or ad *isn't* tweaked these days? Do you people really believe that all these models you see in their fancy photo spreads are that perfect? They are not. They are beautiful, yes, but no one is perfect.
I'm not saying this to slam Angie's picture up there (which I think is a great shot), but I am saying this hopefully to end the debate over whether or not there's been work on the photo.
Just go in knowing that every magazine cover, photo spread, or ad you see has been worked on.

However, this picture does nothing for me. I have seen candids from the Paparazzi that make her look better. Too much lipstick. Her hair is too high and such an odd color. I like it darker.

You can argue about her being airbrushed all you want because at the end of the day she's a normal woman, but until you can look that good EVEN WITH AIRBRUSHING, then calm down with picking at Angelina's imperfections.
I think Angie is incredibly beautiful but I still see her as a homewrecker and suscipously strange. I think she is moving to fast with all these adoptions and babies and traveling all arounf the world every single day with her kids. it's just overkill. she needs to slow down.

We heard so much about them and the city - yet they aren't there. Stars have their children here in this country every day and do it privately - they could. I wish she could find a way to express herself without comparing herself to other women. Couldn't she say she's grateful that Brad finds her pregnancy sexy, or that as artists they value creativity in their children, *without* making a point of saying these are ways that they are different/better/luckier than other people? Maybe it's true, but it seems to me poor form to make a point of saying so.
She actually reminds me a lot of Gwyneth in the way she talks to the press. You get the sense that the intention was good, but the way it comes out can sound really bad. What's with Brad and his gorgeous yet clueless ladies?

And how can you be a fake do gooder? Are they doing good? Yes. Are people actually getting helped by their efforts? Yes. Are they bringing attention to issues that might otherwise go unnoticed? Yes. Lovely woman, but still photoshopped and airbrushed, just like every other cover is (even when the magazine has a 17 year old model with no wrinkles). But envied flawlessness sells, not the image of a very attractive woman in her thirties, with natural aging to her face and some tiredness from pregnancy. Once the looks go and she is no longer considered spectacular (keep in mind the frenzy over the young Elizabeth Taylor, compared to now) the magazine covers will dry up. Hopefully she has enough sense to realize this and be able to live live without the hated and needed publicity.
She does do some good charity work and bringing recognition to causes: still, like many egocentrics, she thinks she is a lot more intelligent and interesting of an 'artist' than she really is. Maybe there is a real intellectual in her, but you don't get that at all in interviews--she's got the same depth as a Playmate discussing her "ideal man" and "what turns her on". Both Jolie and the equally vapid Pitt serve best as the traditional celebrity freak show curiosity--envied for their affluency, disparaged for their neurotic bed swapping and family rearing, overall curiousity at their hedonistic lifestyles.

I am not an artist but I also raised my son with art, books, communication - grab a brain and get down off of your cloud. Lots of people appreciate art, music, books, plays and yes, even communication. One need not be overpaid to do a job that many do who do not even have college degrees in order to appreciate these things. And if you really work on behalf of the world's citizens, why not retract your comments about your alledged "Native American" heritage? It sounds like a scam.
