Halle Berry Thinks Motherhood Will Boost Her Career

As if her career needs boosting! Halle Berry feels that motherhood is going to open up new doors for her as far as quality of roles. She can't wait to get started! Although Halle insists that she is going to work less frequently, she is moving beyond the sex symbol and onto to something of more substance.

"I feel having a baby will open up a whole new world for me. I think
I’ll actually find better roles, because I’ve gotten past being the
ingenue and sex symbol."

"I’m definitely going to work less. I used to put
so much pressure on myself to succeed that it often made me very
unhappy in my personal life. I felt on the verge of burning out three
or four years ago."

Shouldn't that say WILL boost her career not WITH? Self-editing does wonders for appearing intelligent.

Good for her on working less now and focusing on motherhood.

Yeah, yeah but when are we going to see the baby?

I don't think she meant to, but I really wish this quote didn't make her sound so much like she had a baby to help her career.

Passerby Passerby said:

I dunno really. She does need a boost. She did monsters ball and since then its been nothing if anyone remembers correctly. Shes a good actor but has ridiculous taste in roles.

that's her agent's fault though

I'm glad she didn't sell pics of her baby yet, but I'll admit it - I'm dying to see the little girl! Bet she is a darling.
