Marc Anthony Talks About Daddy Duty

The press is really excited about this whole no nanny thing for Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. Reporters were asking Marc how he's doing with his daddy duties and he mentioned that Jennifer has him take over the night shift.
"She expects me to help and she makes no bones about it," Marc said. "I get the late shift. I get literally from 10 PM because we don’t have a nanny. It’s just me and Jennifer figuring it out. From 10 PM to 8 [AM], that’s my shift. It’s just us man. We’re figuring it out and having a great time."
And the twins are growing up fast already.
"They’re just big and gorgeous."
When they asked Marc if Jen is in fitness mode, he said yes, but she's still just enjoying being a mom.
“Yeah, yes she is, but she’s more in mommy mode,” Marc said. “She has three movies lined up and she’s eager to go back to work, but the babies have been a blessing all the way around and she’s just amazing. She’s such an amazing mom and I’m so proud of her. She’s such a gem to watch.”
I have a feeling that we are going to be hearing about being nanny-free in every single interview with J-Lo or Marc from here on out. They are pretty proud of being the only family in all of Hollywood to go it alone. :)

These two make me sick, and the media makes me even more sick by giving these two hacks a platform to talk all their garbage. They feel a need to let the world know what millions of people and animals have done from the beginning of time...take care of their young...GASP!! This fat-ass bitch is going crazy trying to raise two kids, I bet she thought it was going to be easy. She figured out she can't have her "people' take care of it. As for Marc, helloooo you have three other kids, WTF is wrong with you? you skinny crack head looking Puerto Rican. You act like these are your first kids. Jennifer Hopeless; anything for publicity. She wants everyone to know that she's a hands on mom, Fat Bitch!
i'm not sure why you felt the need to point out that he's puerto rican. don't know what that has to do with any of this but i applaud you for bringing up the fact that he has other children. even if he and dayanara (spelling?) had nannies, this shouldn't be foreign territory for him to the point where they're "figuring it out together."
Oh my goodness! No Nanny?! How is this possible? No one goes without a Nanny, anywhere. Wow, welcome to reality. People do it every single day. Just because you've had to join the rest of the parent population, why should I care? To all parents and grandparents, foster and adoptive parents who do it alone, without a nanny each and every day...Thank You! You have the hardest job in the world, raising a human being!
Well, it won't be long until the Nannys come in with 3 movies lined up! lol
To be perfectly honest, I don't think her not wanting a nanny is all about her wanting 24/7 'quality time' with the kids - she strikes me as a TOTAL control freak who probably couldn't handle watching someone else use Huggies instead of Pampers! I love spending time with my daughter more than anything, but if I had the kind of $$ Jennifer has, you'd best believe I'd have some help on my payroll. Even if a nanny only stays at the house during naptime and bedtime, that's some quality out of the house time that I could be enjoying!
I'm with you, Stephanie. Control freak, and probably really difficult to work for. Plus she likely doesn't want a nanny around to see what she's REALLY like and blab it to the tabloids someday!
Good for them for not wanting a nanny! Although, if I had their kind of money, you can bet your life I would have a nanny! At least some of the time.

Isn't Mark going on tour soon? Who will take the night shift while he is away? Oh please, as if they don't have help. At the very least, they have a cleaning staff, and probably a chef. And I agree with other posters, this should hardly be news!
Would hate to have his shift. Does he get PTO? Could there be a LIL J-LO fashion line in the future?
