Clive Owen Sight Seeing In Rome With His Family

Clive Owen enjoyed some sight seeing with his family in Rome over the weekend. I have a confession. When I went to Rome and visited the tourist spots, I stole a rock from the Colosseum. I know that it wasn't the best thing to do. But I was so enamored with the city, that I just had to take something home from it that was truly part of it. No t shirt or trinket would do. So, I took a little piece of history with me and still have it to this day.

Vera, I totally know what you mean... I took a rock from the Grand Canyon! I also have water from the bodies of water (Loch Ness, for example) that I have visited. I like having that "real" piece of the place too!

Can you imagine sightseeing in Rome and then all of the sudden... there's Clive Owen! That would make your visit extra special. ;)

Vera, i can't believe this stupidity! Sorry, you might think what's one little stone, nobody is going to notice it, but imagine everybody would do this! And unfortunately more and more people are doing it. It's an ancient theater, not some stones lying around in the nature.

I totally agree with you! Americans need to learn to respect history and other cultures.

If I may, don't clump every single American into one group. Not all of us would take a piece of somewhere to remember it by.

I think it'd be more respectful to steal Clive and bring him home! ;)

This man has got to be one of the most gorgeous creatures on the planet! I  him!

No more stealing rocks, Vera! Especially ancient Roman rocks.

I had a thing for sticking my hand in water everywhere I went when I was little, I got both Venice, Lyon's square in Italy! Of course, I was 2 at the time!

I'd like to do some sight seeing with Clive! Wonder if he'd ditch the family for a wild night out?

Naughty Vera! Not only have you stolen a piece of history but you have blabbed about it on your site which is only going to make other people think that it's ok to do. Take the comment out of the Clive Owen post to stop more people reading it, please!

I totally agree. Take the comment down or take the rock back. Those buildings are the origins of western society and they deserve our care and respect.

Haha that's ok. I took rocks from The Parthenon and from the village in Pompeii that was destroyed by Mount Vesuvius. No worries :o)
