Angelina Jolie's Twins Could Fetch $15 Million For First Cover

I'm a little late on this one. Forgive me as I've been in the air flying home. $15 MILLION! FOR PICTURES? There is NO WAY that a magazine would ever make that money back. It has to be more about bragging rights than anything else. Holy Smokes!
There is a possibility that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are going to get $15 million from the magazine that purchases the distribution rights to the first set of pictures showing off their twin babies.
Has all of this gone too far? Currently People and OK! are the last two standing. And I am sure that both are carrying on with a "whatever it takes" attitude.

$15 million is a BIIIITTTTT much. That's retarded. I thought the $1mill, or $2mill price tags were over the top, but FIFTEEN? Dang. It DEFINITELY pays to have babies in hollywood.
instead of giving that $$$ 2 brangie why cant the magazine companies just donate that 2 charity....the world we live in 2day..sigh.

It going to charity and we able to see the gorgeous couple babies. It is like rasing money for charity. J.lo twins were 5 million and she decided to keep the money no one blame hebr for it. But Brangie is a kind of raise money to charity we should support . By the way I am not a fan but i like the idea of it.

yea donate it to charity - then collect it as a tax right-off and receive the money back.
Depending on how much of their income they donate each year, they may not be able to deduct everything. Also, a deduction only reduces the amount of taxable income. It is not as if they get the full value of their donation back in tax breaks. Also, donations to foreign charities usually can't be deducted....

I suppose it is a law of supply and demand at work here. as much as we claim we are not interested there must a a gajillion of other people who are. It is that plain and simple. Paying any amount of money for anybodys child is already over they top. It is good that it will be donated. I like Angelina and not really trying to accuse her of anything but I know when wealthy individuals create charities in their names money is used for tax write offs, there are also many many ways to create smart and savvy financial operations with this money. However, this money will belong to her anyways and I am optimistic that she will do good with it.
i find this sickening!!! there are starving people in the world dying everyday and celebs are getting MILLIONS for a picture of their newborns?? yeah, i've heard that Ang and Brad are going to give it to charity, but john q. public will never know if they did or not...blah
I would never SELL MY CHILDREN period. They'd hate me for it when they got older and knew that I sold them to some trashy supermarket tabloid. There are many other ways to raise millions for charity. Ask Bill Clinton.

Why would anyone pay 4 or 5 dollars for a magazine to see pics of babies, when they will be all over the internet the next day for free???? I don't believe that they give the money to charity...Last time she donated the money to an organization that she owned...Then a year later she shut down the organization...

It's crazy how much they are willing to pay, but since they give it to charity like they did w/ Shiloh's pics, I'm with some of the other posts, the more the merrier! And w/ how obsessed the public and the paparazzi are with them, I can't imagine how invasive and unsafe it could be for everyone if they didn't sell the pics. The paparazzi would be going above and beyond to get the first pics....and would probably take dangerous ways to do so.
