Hilary Duff Shopping at the Christian Louboutin Store

Hilary Duff enjoyed an afternoon of shopping at the Christian Louboutin boutique in the meatpacking district yesterday and to say I'm jealous is an understatement. I'm one of those women that love shoes and if given the choice, I'd choose a great pair of shoes over a great handbag. Which would you all choose, purse or shoes?

Great purse
depends really, there are moments that I would really obsess in shoes will purchase a few pairs in one go, then I would start with the handbags. For now I'm back with jewelry obsession ;)
That is a tough one. Currently in my closet I have about 75 prs of shoes/boots and only about a dozen handbags. I would have to say shoes because it easier to grab a pr of shoes and wear them, where as a handbag you have to change out the stuff you carry in there. Years and years ago my aunt who was very tiny and only wore a size 5 shoe got to get the shoes of some long ago actress who wore the same size as my aunt. So whenever the actress was ready to give away her shoes my aunt always got first dibs on them. The shoes were both from her personal collection as well as the ones she wore in her movies. My aunt had a whole room dedicated to her shoe collection. I was so jealous. I always wished I wore a size 5. I can't remember the actresse's name now.

Oh Vera...I am so hard on shoes...all my shoes are lined up in my closet and they are all leaning to the side, praying that I don't wear them again....Really...so yeah, HANDBAGS...hand's down. I love my shoes...and I will buy a nice pair cuz I have big feet and anything big should not be cheap, but 500, 600 bucks...so they can lean to the side and scuff up against one another when I walk....NAH!!!!

oh, handbag- ANY DAY!!! Although, there is nothing like a brand new pair of shoes....ahhh the smell of leather!
Handbag.. you can get away with wearing it more often.. If I buy a great pair of shoes, I feel like I can't wear them so often because it's noticible.

I would have to choose a handbag :-) I think you can sort of "fake" a nice pair of shoes, while a knock-off handbag is hard to pass off.

Shoes. Shoes. Shoes. Although Louboutins are not all they are talked up to be. Moschino, Gucci, and Costume National are HOT. They are the female equivalent of wearing a superhero cape and tights. You should have a shoe contest!
I'm more of a purse girl myself-- I'll buy the shoes and never wear them, but I'll carry that purse until it's busted.
My gut is to say shoes, but I have a bunch of real purses from pre-mommy days. I don't wear cheap shoes, the line in that movie Silence of the Lambs sticks out in my memory forever, Ah, Clarice, with your designer bag and cheap shoes........... that was my last payless pair lol Now, I just wait for a sale. Or points!

The bag definitely! You can wear a tank a pair of jeans with a big expensive bag that will make your entire outfit fab!

Shoes for sure. I have at least a hundred pairs and counting. I agree with Amy, too, that with bags you have to switch everything out of them. And man wouldn't it be cool to go shopping with Hilary. She has such a GREAT sense of style.

I'm definitely a purse kinda girl all the way... never really gotten into shoes idk why. i like shoes as much as the next person, but if I had to splurge on something it would definitely be an awesome purse.
She sure shops alot!
